Love my defender case. My 9 year old phone is on it's third case. I work in the trades so I'm very tough on it. Only downside is that not all charging inputs make it past the case. I think the Apple one my girlfriend just bought doesn't "fit", but others do.

Recently purchased otter box for my I phone. It requires great effort to type, etc. The screen saver does not register when a call is answered. The side buttons are very difficult to use— increase and decrease volume, screen shot, etc. I had an Otter Box years ago and regret having made this purchase.

Awesome, but doesn't fit well

Really nice case, holds up to drops very well. And it looks good too, I've received compliments on it. BUT, it fits fairly loose on the phone, I was disappointed for a case made by such a reputable company. It's still good, and the price is right, but you might want to wait for a revision.
Pros: Durable, looks
Cons: fitment

Good Cover, doesn't cover all ports

After purchasing my new iPhone I went after the cases I'd had for years with other phones, the OtterBox Commuter series. While this case does fit the new iPhone 6 well the hard outer shell doesn't grip as well to the rubber inner casing. Most importantly the cover over the audio port doesn't actually cover the entire port. Only 1/2 of the port is covered by the flap before it is cut away presumably for the mic that is adjacent to the port. Given this the case is not able to provide the protection to the audio port and requires modification before it can be advertised as covering them all. I expected more out of the OtterBox products I've used for years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor Fit

I've always used a Commuter Case for my iPhones, but I'm very disappointed with this case. It seems Otterbox did not compensate for the curve of the new phone because it does not fit the phone well at all. The silicone cover fits properly, but the hard shell does not. There is a sizable gap between the silicone and shell around all corners of the phone. Also, the clear cover that comes with the case for the screen does not fit properly. It either covers a portion of the home screen button or it goes over the top edge.
I would rather be patient and have Otterbox take time to create a case that fits properly than quickly push a case out that does not fit the phone. I will be buying a new (not Otterbox) case as soon as it comes out.
Cons: Low quality, doesn't fit

Colors

While I check the site at least 3 times a day for the colors I want, they still are not available. I am hoping the delay on the other colors is due to the re-vamping the case to make it fit since evidently the first black and gray/black and white/gray cases did not have a good fit. Please Otterbox, make them right and get some color out to us!!
