Love everything, except the silicone skin.

Within weeks of getting my iPhone 6 Commuter case the pink silicone skin began to discolor. I have tried every way to clean it, but the pink fails to return to the original color. I love the protection OtterBox's offer; yet is very disappointed in the quality of the skin. I would encourage Otterbox to change the design and offer additional colors for the commuter case as they for for the iPhone 5. Because of this design and quality issue I was forced to change brands.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Low quality

Could Be Better

Case doesn't fit the phone perfectly. The top edge of the hard shell doesn't sit flat around the rubber. It gaps pretty bad. I put my phone in my back pocket of my jeans often when walking around the office at work, and the blue dye of my jeans fades easily onto the rubber inner shell. Doesn't come off easily either. Screen protector that comes with the case doesn't cover the whole screen--it leaves the edges exposed. OtterBox would do really well to redesign this Commuter case!
Cons: improper fit

Disappointed

I bought my Commuter series case when I bought my iPhone 6 in October of 2014. I swore by the Otterbox Commuter with my iPhone 5. I was so disappointed with this case on the iPhone 6. In a couple of weeks it didn't keep the snug fit on the phone. It got to the point where the corner would pop off. I was completely disappointed. Since the Commuter case took care of my iPhone 5 I didn't even shop around, I went for another Commuter Case for my iPhone 6. Live and learn. The commuter case lives in a drawer and I put a Spigen case on it for now.
Cons: Low quality, doesn't fit well.

Liked the iPhone 5 Commuter Otter Box as it fit perfectly and provided adequate protection. The iPhone 6 Commuter does not fit as well, particularly the area surrounding the charging port. There are gaps between the gasket and the outer shell that cannot be massaged to fit. After receiving the first one I contacted Otter Box and they replaced it. (Customer service was very helpful and pleasant.) The second one has the same loose fit, particularly around the bottom of the phone. It appears that something is off in the design of this one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My shattered phone

My Otterbox smashed the corner of my phone when I fell with it in my hand. Fine I took total responsibility for that, new phone same Otterbox. Now my Otterbox is cracked on the back!? Not nearly as good as the old one I had.

Great case, but give it a few days!

So, I almost did not buy this case because of all of the reviews that say the plastic outer part does not fit the rubber inner part very well. But, then I read a review that said, give it a few days, and the rubber part with mold to the plastic. I bought this case on a whim, hoping that this would be true and it is! When I first put the case on, there were so many gaps between the rubber and the plastic, but as it sits on your phone, the gaps start to close. I have now had the case on my phone for 3 days, and almost all of the gaps are gone. I absolutely love this case, and if you are thinking about buying this, just know that you have to give it a few days! You can't just base it off of the first appearance. :)

My custom color Otter Box arrived quickly and was beyond my expectations! The colors were even better than they looked online and the fit was perfect! I was concerned the case would be too thick but the commuter is the right combination of thin and great protection! I have no concerns recommending this case for my iPhone 6! Only recommendation is that they start producing more color options like they do with the iPhone 6 Plus.

I ordered two Commuters for the iPhone 6. One came, but the case was cracked and we had to go through a whole rigmarole to get a new one. The other is okay, but the fit isn't perfect.
Good cases, once intact cases actually got here. Not a perfect fit, but it gets the job done.
It's mostly just a letdown because my previous otterbox was fantastic. Fit like a glove and never let me down. Maybe this is just some bad luck that I got a couple imperfect ones, but it seems like other reviews have talked about the fit being off on this model, too...
