Since our first smart phones, we've had more than five otterbox purchased. Being an active family, with a teenager and two adolescents we only purchase the defender cases. I've personally dropped my phones, from heights that should've broken them, 50+ times. Never had phone damage! Thanks to Otterbox, we don't waste our money on cellular company's "insurance". One purchase, required to be attached to each device before activation, and we're good to go! Solid product in a disposable world.

I like using the holster instead of carrying my phone in a pocket. However, the clip that holds the phone doesn't last very long. It always breaks in 6 months or less.

I had the Defender case for my 5 and was very happy with it. I also have the Defender case for my IPad Air2 and am very happy w that. Of course I ordered the Defender for my new 6s. I love the color, the protection the case offers and the feel of it in my hand. I am not happy with the clear plastic cover. It is not as responsive to touch as my other covers. When texting, you have to press, not just touch the screen. Also when swiping the screen the phone does not always react.

I have used this product for years. While I see others consistently replace screens or phones because of drop damage. All of my phones from the iPhone 5 and each series subsequent upgrades remain day one new and out the box fresh when retired. All the phones have been dropped multiple times and used daily for work and play. There are better looking cases of course, but they will not protect your phone in the long run. Walking around with a cracked screen really takes all the glamour from the designer cases.
