My husband chose this for me and I thought it was rather expensive. However, it is certainly very high standard and will protect my phone brilliantly. Instructions of how to put it together with phone rather pathetic so used internet for video instructions!!

This is my 4th Defender case. I drop my phone quite often but never have to worry as I have never had a cracked screen or broken iphone. It may not look super stylish but I prefer to have a phone in perfect condition.

I once bought another brand from a sales rep who said that it offered as much protection as an Otterbox Defender plus it was waterproof! It cost about $40 more, so I got it. Well, within 6 months it had a cracked screen.
I’ve been using Defender cases since my iPhone 4 and have never damaged a phone! This includes drops from a 12 ft. ladder, catching it on girders and ceiling joists, just about anything you can imagine! It’s not totally waterproof, so I don’t carry it in the pool or surf.
No, it’s not the most chic case in the world, but I have a phone, not a fashion accessory,
