Thank you Otter for bringing me out of black and white with your many color choices. Purchased my cover BEFORE I upgraded my phone. With so many colors to choose from I am now very happy with Teal!!! Can now find my phone better in my purse and am confident against accidental drops.

I hesitated to go for Otterbox for my new iPhone 6s, not because of the quality but the price. But I was able to get it for about $35.
I previously had an Otterbox case for an iPhone 4 that was thick rubber and it certainly did protect it, but was a bit too bulky.
I missed Otterbox with my iPhone 5s, when I instead used an Apple case and dropped it several times, first damaging the case around the camera lens and then finally shattering the screen. I replaced the screen for about $100, but it was never the same. Fingerprint recognition never worked right after that, and Siri would pop up whenever I wanted to see my apps.
But now I have the Otterbox Defender, and it's worth the money. It has that "rubbery" type protection but the case is well designed to let me use the switches and volume controls comfortably and surely. The only inconvenience is having to open the flaps to access the various ports, but I can understand the value when you're in a dusty, dirty environment. We'll see if they stay as pliable 2 years from now.
I would definitely recommend the Defender to anyone with an iPhone who gives it rough treatment as I do mine.

This is my 4th Otterbox I've either used or purchased and they all have held up great! I'm active and on the go so dropping the phone does happen along with my kids getting hold and I have yet to have a phone damaged. Well worth the money and not as expensive as other brands.

I have bought 8 otterbox cases over the years and always loved the cases. They protect my iphone and I drop it regularly so need the protection. My one compliant - on the "build your own" product, my fingerprint will not read due to bubbles at the bottom. I have tried to smooth it out and it works for a couple times and then goes back to the bubble.
Highly recommend the otterbox product. My kids have them on their phones and they work.

I like the ease with which the case and slipcover can be applied and removed. My daughter gave me my first case and slipcover and after many years of use, there seems to be no wear and tear!
I ordered my second case and slipcover because I wanted a color. I am VERY happy with my purchase!

Received the Defender series for the IPhone 6 and had initial trouble separating the parts of the case. Someone else helped me separate the shell components. After installing the IPhone 6 in the case, it fits very well and all of the connector openings for charging, changing to vibration etc. are fine. Overall this case provides excellent protection as I have dropped the phone a few times and there has been no damage to the phone or screen. Do not use fingerprint on the phone so not sure if you may have to resubmit your print with this screen. Overall I believe it to be a good investment and would recommend this case for IPhone 6 users.
