We purchased this "holster" to replace one that is used daily at work. The other one lasted over a year -- with heavy use, coming on and off several times a day, the clip finally broke. We were delighted to find the exact same holster sold separately (and affordably) with fast shipping. This is an excellent value and a durable product.

I have purchased several Defender Series cases over the past few years for iPhone 3 and 4 and was completely satisfied.
Unfortunately this is the second case I have purchased within the past year. The belt holder broke without any force. Also the swivel of the holder is quite loose and has a tendency to rotate the phone
The holders of the smaller model iPhone were a lot better!

I went years without a durable case for my iPhone and after completely obliterating my phone on metal steps I instantly regretted not having better protection. I selected this case based on other reviews and price point. It seemed bulky at first but I quickly came to love the grippy feel and peace of mind. My 1 1/2 year old sometimes gets a hold of it and I have found it outside or under a couch and I am not worried about it. I know the case can take the hit. I also like using the clip that it came with when working in the yard. I will continue recommmending this case.

I have gotten defender cases in the past. It is best the protection case out of the other options. I have banged my phone on the table many times and dropped it a million times and every time my iPhone seems to be unharmed. Easy for water to get through though and can be annoying to take off the case to wipe it. It is bulky but if you don't mind that its great! Also around the apple logo it starts to peel over a period of time but I have a pocket wallet to avoid that.
