I had an Otterbox Defender for my iPhone 4s, which slid off the roof of my car at 50mph. It went bounding down the highway and suffered NO apparent damage! This cover for my iPhone 6s seems even more robust. I have high expectations!
Have 20 service techs with iPhones. This is great protection for their phones and otter stands behind their warranty if case does not hold up to constant use.
Have had to buy three different sets of Otter Defender Series since I bought my apple 6 phone three years ago. The holster clips have only lasted 12, 14 and 16 months respectively. Since it is an older phone, now Best Buy doesn't carry the compete holder, but, luckily Otter still offers the holster part which is all I need.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve been using the Defender case ever since I got my first iPhone, 5 years ago. It’s always protected my phone from accidental dropping - esp when I get out of my van & forget that it’s on my lap. It has a good strong feel/grip & not heavy. Otter box even sent me a new skin years ago when mine didn’t hold up well. They seem to have a better formula now.
This is my third belt clip holster. I am pretty harsh with it, I work construction and landscaping. It’s with me at all times. As I mentioned “Want leave home without it”.
Ever since I installed new cover I have trouble with any buttons on all four sides very close to edge of glass responding, especially going from alpha to numerical screens and going back to alpha screens. I try numerous times touching screen and sometimes have to go completely out to homepage and try it again. A real pain when trying to text periods or question marks. I'm ready to put old case back on. What is a solution for this?
