my commuter series fits like a glove, doesn't add a lot of weight and keeps the iphone6's slim profile. Only dropped it once with no damage. the case makes the phone easy to handle and you can set it face down on a flat surface without worry. also like how the charging port and earbud port are covered but with easy access when needed. if you do not want a bulky case but also want good protection this is the one.

Disappointing

I read the reviews about the poor fit on here, but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway, because I loved the Commuter case for my iPhone 5c so much. Yeah....really regret this purchase. Poor fit all around. The plastic isn't flush with the rubber in the corners, and there's a lot of space between plastic and rubber on the back of the phone. The coverings on the bottom of the phone are also poorly fit (the rubber is too big for the plastic holes.)
Otterbox is all about precision fit, but this clearly isn't precision. The case is still functional, but for the added bulk and protection it should look good and fit with precision - which it doesn't - so I just went and bought another brand of case that I've been using instead. Hopefully Otterbox can provide a refund, and another reason to buy from them in the future, because I'm passing on them with my iPhone 6.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got one first then my husband got one and we both love it. Can carry a few cards and a small amount of cash but still beats having to carry a purse when all you need is your debit card, ID and a few bucks. Love that just the outer case can be bought separate from the case cover so saved a few dollars not having to replace both parts. Wish they had a few more colors but still recommend. The case makes your phone a little bulkier which I like because it's easier to hold.

I have used the Defender series for my last 4 IPhones and the one for the 6s is the best yet. Wasn't that happy with the case for my 6 as the buttons took way to much effort to use. The one on my new 6s only needs the lightest of pushing to work. Of course the case itself has always been great and the ability to clip to my belt is a huge plus since I wear 2 hearing aids. This allows me to hear it ring.

I have loved the defender series every since my grandson dropped my phone twice in one day. After the store told me to get a case and I did the research and found otterbox over 8 years ago. i never get a new phone or tablet without buying an otterbox for it. Just stop raising the prices so high so soon.

Commuter is Awesome!

Had one of these Commuter cases for my old 5s and loved it. Have to say this case for my new 6s is over-the-top better than the 5s case. Thin, lightweight and great fit. Had to call customer service regarding the screen protector as I ended up with a bubble that would not go away. They were just as amazing as this case and sent out not 1 but 2 replacement protectors. Went on like a champ and I love it, love it, love it!
