I looked for the defender in stores, but could only find black, I wanted a color case. I also bought two cases as gifts and they were very proud of their Otter case and liked the colors.

I bought the inside shell case to replace the one originally purchased with my phone nearly 3 years ago. It is worth paying a little extra for the quality protection I receive from it. I drop my phone more than I care to admit, and stick it in my back pocket a lot. The Defender protects my phone admirably. My phone is still in GREAT shape!

I love my otter box, and I’ve been using otter products since I got my first smart phone 6 years ago. The only thing that’s off is the colors of the cases - online, they are a slightly different color than when they show up and you see them in person. It’s not necessarily a bad color, just a bit off from what I was expecting. The rubber case fits a bit tight at first, but once it’s on, the case does exactly what it’s supoosed to do and looks great.

This was a replacement clip as the single flange on the clip broke off. Apparently because I like to put my phone in the clip with the face up, not down. The reason is that I have a mount on my bike that I place the phone in order to use the GPS app as I ride. The phone seems to be a bit tighter when mounted in the clip this way and must have caused the flange to break off after a long period of constant use.
