I am constantly amazed about how well the Otterbox defender protects the phone. My 5 year old iPhone 6S outside is in mint condition still. The phone case I bought with the phone was coming apart, so I decided to get a new case. It looks great and will probably outlast the phone.
I had the same experience with the case for my iPhone 4. The battery was no longer charging and the apps could no longer be updated, but the outside of the phone still looked like new. This phone case really does it’s job.

I accidently dropped my phone in the street as I was getting in my car. It had been there about an hour when I retraced my steps and found it. The phone had been run over...not sure how many times. The screen protector was badly scratched and one side of the Defender Case was cracked. But when I took it apart my phone had no damage whatsoever! I bought a new case for a fraction of the cost of a new phone. I'm sold on OtterBox!

The otterbox has served me well

The otterbox has served me well in a difficult shop environment on what is now an older phone. I chose to replace its battery and the otterbox which had worn out over 5 years rather than replace the phone.

I just got my Commuter Wallet this morning. After getting the thing on the phone, which was a little snug but I got it done. I couldn't for the life of me figure out how the wallet was supposed to open, I mean I figured you just slide it down. I had to get a credit card to push in the top edge to help me get the wallet opened. I banged up my fingers pretty good and almost needed first aid. There has to be a better way. I've been sliding it back and forth trying to loosen it up but I don't think that's going to help. I really do not want to stand in line and can't get my card or money out of the thing. Other than that, it's a really nice case. I have the pink and white colors for iPhone6. I agree ob needs to make more color choices. But more important fix the design of the wallet so while it needs to be snug so it won't open alone, it needs to be smooth so I can get it open when I need it.
Pros: Durable
Cons: hard to open

I just received my new commuter case for my new iPhone 6 and I love it! I'm one to check out reviews before making a final decision on a product online, and had read a lot of reviews about the case not fitting good and I'm thrilled to say I'm not one of those unsatisfied customers. Mine fit perfect and I love it! I hope others will find the same results as I did.. Just got to take a chance if it something you really want! Thanks otterbox!

Do Not buy Pink and white

WARNING! Do not buy the white case with pink rubber. I bought it for my Iphone 6 and the pink discolored within a month. It continues to get worst and i have tried everything to clean it. I just bought a different color, because i like the design and coverage of the Commuter. I am not sure if this is a defect or not.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Low quality, discolors easily

The pink case matches my laptop case, and other accessories, so I had to buy it! Alas, I have had it for a few months now, and it is so discolored, it looks dirty and black all of the time. I have used the magic eraser, I have even taken a chance with soaking it in bleach, and the dark stains on the pink are more of a deep purple but have not gone away. I'm disappointed. I have just gone to a black rubber part.
The case offers good protection, so I am glad I bought it for that (other than the fact that you need a screen protector in addition to the case).
If they had a pink shell, I would buy that, but no more light colored inside rubber pieces.
Pros: Durable
Cons: rubber gets stained very easily
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
