My second buy of this case. First one lasted about a year. The top snap/clip that holds the phone tight in the case broke when it and the phone hit the ground getting out of my car. We'll see how my second one does.

I have been buying otterbox cases for several generations of iPhones. While my iPhone + Defender case is much more hefty than the iPhone itself, the case has provided protection against weather, spills and falls. I literally dropped it (accidentally of course) down a set long set of stairs without any resulting damage. While I would love a wider color/pattern choice, I have no complaints and will continue to purchase this case for any phone that I own.
