Easy to Install

I just purchased all new appliances and this one was the easiest to install! I like the fact there there are no buttons on the outside and that it is easy to operate.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Second one, first failed in 15 months

Bought a new compactor in August 2012. It stripped drive gear and warped internal frame in OCTOBER 2013, JUST OUT OF WARRANTY. Fortunately I had a home warranty that covered a full replacement since it was not repairable. So they just installed identical replacement.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality Trash Compactor at Reasonable Price

Bought this trash compactor to replace a twenty year old unit. The compactor is very well constructed, is very stylish and was easily installed by myself. The compactor does a great job of reducing the volume of our garbage which reduces our trash collection bill. I'd recommend this unit to anyone!

Poor compacting with no lockdown feature

Bought this compactor a little less than a year ago with a brand new house build. I used to have a cheaper model in my last house that worked much better. Frustrated that I own this one.

Great asset to the kitchen

We purchased 8 years ago and have had no trouble with it. We keep a small trash can under the sink for food items, so the compactor stays odor free even though we can go 2 weeks or more before needing to empty it.
