unhappy with this compactor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very unhappy with this compactor. The screws fall out of the foot control constantly. Y ou have to step on the foot pedal to start or stop the compactor, and it is made very flimsy. I have reattached the screw so many times that now the area is stripped, I am now seeking a replacement repair and part, considering the compactor has only been installed within my house for 6 months
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Work great, simple to use, No issue so far

I got this as a replacement for 20 years old trash compactor. This GE one is so lite compare to the old one and portable you can practically put it any where you want, it is movable, made for regular 110 volt plug. Great products so far, easy to install, instruction is clear.

Quiet & Efficient

I got this product about a month ago and I just love it. The trash compactor we had previously was old and very loud and did not really compact very well. This one is great and I recommend it to anyone looking to replace their old compactor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has a nice sleek look and is easy to keep clean. The motor is a much loader than the last Profile compactor we had but compacts much better. There are less internal nooks and crannies to clean which makes it overall a better compactor from my perspective.
