Wonderful product

This replaces a GE compactor that was purchased in 1993. It still worked after all those years, but black was replaced with stainless when I remodeled. It works beautifully and I particularly love the foot control.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Toe kick defective

I've had this compactor 2 1/2 years and I've had to reattach the toe kick once a month. With normal use the screws work their way out and the toe kick falls off. This unit replaced the previous GE compactor that was 15 years old. I never had this problem with that unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This compactor works just fine. One great thing about a compactor, our dogs just CAN'T get into it! Wouldn't be without one.
