Purchased to digitize files. Have scanned hundreds of pages with the ADF. Very satisfied. Will get to photos soon, my last two scanners were flatbed Epson scanners so I expect to get great results,just as I did with the last ones.

Scanner document feeder does not work out of the box. Paper catches on edge of white plastic base of feeder to misffed and crumble original each and every time. Will be calling customer support to send replacement sheet feeder.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not happy jams every 6 or so picks & is slow & noisey. Pulls picks in at all angles & some are 1/2 picks. Would not recommend it at all

Found the scanner like all the products that I buy from Epson to be not of any value the constantly are unable to function I would not offer this product to anyone else

Really a solid value insofar as it offers a document feeder as well as a flatbed scanning surface.
I've used it for hundreds of documents and found it to be fast and excellent quality.
There are other scanners that scan faster, and can scan doubled-sided, but they tend to be almost twice the price. The V500 Office is a good investment for finding that middle ground.
I would recommend this to a friend!

How do I get a part for this mahcine?

This is an excellent and easy to use scanner.
But the top comes off easily and I would like ot know if I can purchase just the top feeder and replace it.

We now own three of these scanners--one with the feeder tray. They were all easy to set up and give terrific results. Hooray for Epson! And the price is very reasonable.
