[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit in November but it wasn’t delivered until March after 2 delays. The microwave works perfectly. The issue I have is that the panel does not illuminate. I cannot see the options unless I turn on the overhead kitchen lights. Very annoying.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Operation panel is not back lit and nearly impossible to see in low light. Finally, the manual is hard to read and not intuitive. It needs to be improved.

I bought this microwave over two years ago and had been very happy with it. Used it primarily for reheating. Unfortunately, it just stopped working. I was out of the 1 year warranty, and did not purchase the extended warranty. An LG technician diagnosed the problem as a bad main board. A replacement board would have cost just as much as a new microwave. It is a poorly designed product which should absolutely last more than 2 years, especially given the price.
