We had been looking to replace our old over the stove microwave for years and when we saw this one at the store, it sold itself. It has a great look and is really easy to operate. It has a very generous interior and an upper rack increases its capacity.

Perfect microwave

We redid all of our appliances in our new house and decided to make them all match and this was our microwave choice. This thing is a beast! It can cook pretty much anything with its many settings and presets. It's extremely tall, wide and deep allowing for just about anything to fit in there. There is even a shelf if you want to have two layers of stuff nuked. Apparently you can put metal in there also since the shelf is made our of metal but I haven't done that since it still seems like a bad idea. The light and fan work great and I often use the dimmest setting on the light for the evening when I just need a little bit in the kitchen.

We purchased this product to replace a 10 year old over the range microwave. We were updating our kitchen and wanted to put in all stainless steel appliances. This product was priced right where we wanted to be and it was rated very highly by Consumer Reports. We have been using this product for about 6 weeks now and love the large capacity, the 2-speed fan and also the light over the range. We have been very happy with our purchase. We installed it ourselves and it was very easy to install!

Looks great and good for the money

I bought this microwave because the style is great and it has features that are good for a Family sunch as hot dog and popcorn, although the popcorn function hasn't worked so well. It's been making some noises which I'm not sure if it's normal or not.Some buttons are positioned in weird places, but overall I am satisfied with the microwave.

Overall, this a good quality microwave. The cooking features are nice. The defroster is good for chicken breasts and ground beef, but it can cook smaller items (frozen breakfast sausage) before they're fully defrosted. The keypad buttons also need to be pushed a little harder than you would expect. I've only had it for about 3 months now, but I'm very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone. I installed it myself without any trouble and it looks great, especially for it's reasonable price.

Overall this is a very good over the range microwave. It's powerful, has all the usual features, an intuitive control panel, great build quality, and attractive looks. It is the quietest microwave I have owned, the exhaust fan is relatively quiet, and the interior and over the range lighting is good. The interior has plenty of room, and a very large turntable. The sensor functions seem to work very well for baked potatoes and popcorn. I installed it myself, and didn't have any problems. The only really minor issue is that control panel requires a firm touch. You will not regret purchasing this model.

Perfect Over the Range Microwave

This microwave complements our Stainless Steel kitchen beautifly. It looks and performs great. From the ventelation fan and over range lighting options to the speed with which it cooks, this unit is perfect. We had others but this one heats and cooks faster and easier than all the others. The carasol is heavy duty and can be turned off for the big caseroles. We are so glad we bought this LG.
