We purchased this washer after our 6 year old washer bit the dust. We had to purchase quickly, as we have two little ones, one in cloth diapers. We were planning on buying the model below it, but because the store we purchased it at didn't have that one in stock to deliver soon, we decided to purchase this one. We don't regret that decision one bit. I find myself looking around the house for more things to wash, because I love using it so much. I have found a use for pretty much every setting, I love the sanitize setting for the diapers, and I love that I can choose an extra rinse cycle. I love the no spin option for when washing wool and delicates. The timer display is wonderful, and has helped me be more efficient with my laundry. While it's hard to get used to after having a top loader, I love that it is stingy on water, and everything comes out so clean!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color

I had a kenmore for 16 years but replaced it with the samsung set due to current product reviews. This unit is excellent and has all the bells and whistles. Very quiet, I hardly know its on. Thank you Samsung!

Not a machine for dirty clothes

I'm so disappointed in my first front loading washing machine, the Samsung WF220. We've had it for several months now. We live in the country and my husband farms, so our clothes get dirty. This machine does not move enough water through the clothes to move the dirt out, and get them clean. At most, they are saturated, but never soaking or being washed in standing water. As a result, we have clothes going through the washer then the dryer, and stains becoming set. I've never had yellow under the arms of our t-shirts until we got this machine. Our previous machine washed our clothes more thoroughly. Also, this washer, or the dryer, is hard on our clothes. I've found that t-shirts I've had for years which were still in good condition, in this washer are now "pilling" on the surface. I think the spin cycle is too hard on them. Consequently, I'm turning all of our shirts and nice slacks inside out so they don't become shabby and worn looking. I would not buy this machine again, and am seriously looking for a way to find a better washer even if I have to take a loss financially.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using the washer now about 1 month, I am very pleased with how clean , fresh smeeling, and no soap left in my clothes. I would expect to get years of use from this product in the future.

This washer uses tons less water then the Frigidaire it replaced. We're used to seeing water half-way up the front door of the washer, not the case with this one. At first my wife thought: 1. I installed it incorrectly. 2. The clothes are going to come out incompletely washed.
Neither was the case.
The clothes came out perfectly washed using an extremely noticeable less amount of water.
Pros: 1. much less water usage, 2. easy to operate, 3. pleasant end-cycle tone, 4. large front-loading door, 5. easy access lint filter
Cons: not made in the usa.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WF210 Washer does not provide a hot or warm wash

I am extremely dissatisified with the Samsung WF210 washer. I am surprised that more people are not complaining, although many are on other sites. I purchased this washer two weeks ago and am already on the replacement washer.
The washer does not use enough hot water on the hot and warm wash cycles, so the wash water is actually very cool. In fact, the hot water wash cycle uses mostly cold water with a little bit of hot thrown in, thereby resulting in a very cool wash temperature, instead of hot as labelled on the temperature selector.
I now have the replacement WF210 washer. Once again, the hot water wash does not function and uses mostly cold water. Why is any cold water being used on a hot cycle?
I now have a washer that is unable to wash my laundry in a manner that is commonly expected from a clothes washer. Are these washers intentionally designed to use virtually no hot water on the hot and warm cycles to meet energy efficiency standards?
The user manual that accompanies the washer specifically states on page 35 that the temperature range for hot is 105-125 degrees F and 41-52 degrees C, while warm ranges from 85-105 F and 29-41 C. My machine on hot does not even reach 75-80 degrees F. The normal and heavy duty cycles provide only cool wash water on the hot and warm cycles and provides less water than on the delicate cycle. Why so little water would be used for a heavy duty load and why it would be cool instead of warm or hot is beyond me. Strangely, the only cycle that produces a warm water wash with sufficient water is the delicate cycle. Yet the delicate cycle does not allow for a hot water wash selection and will only spin on low. And of course the warm rinse is actually cold.
So two washers with the same problem indicates that this is a design issue. My water connectors have been checked and the water temperature and pressure are perfectly fine. The problem is the Samsung washer.
In addition to the lack of a hot or even lukewarm wash, the wash cycle on this machine is way too long. How a machine that can take 2-3 times as long as an old top loader can be energy efficient is beyond me.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, does not do hot or warm wash
