Has all I need

We (young adult kids and middle-aged boomers) have been enjoying this TV for a year now. Recently added a mid-range Yamaha surround sound 3D receiver and 5.1 speakers. Got it hooked up to wired internet, satellite DVR, Samsung Blu-ray, older VCR, and Nintendo Wii using the ARC HDMI and it all works splendidly! The addition of the surround speakers is icing on the cake. Having this setup as the family entertainment & media center has actually resulted in our spending more time together.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, arc hdmi, variety of user settings

This product is easy to use and has cool features

I've owned this TV since November 2010 and so far I've loved it. It has some great features as smart TV's go and the apps are fairly easy to use. Two things I've had a problem with: 1. After it switches to the AV mode, it doesn't automatically switch back to cable, but goes to the default-Air, so i need to actually switch the source back to cable every time. 2. The Netflx app hangs every now and then and the TV hangs with it. The TV additionally gets hot to the touch and does'n respond to On/Off buttons and takes its own sweet time to switch off. Again, not sure if this has more to do with the short comings of the app, or the TV, but thought I'd mention it here. The one thing that never ceases to amaze me is the quality of the picture-The clarity and sharpness of the image is fantastic and consistent. One can also calibrate it to desired brightness, color intensity and shapness based on room light availablity and positioning, which is a fabulous option. The Eco setting option is another cool feature which allows you to lessen brightness to save power, or even to switch off picture while leaving sound on. Overall, i have very few complaints with it and enjoy watching it.

Love this T.V. Such easy set-up for a t.v. that does so many things. In addition to the user friendliness, the picture clarity is phenomenal. So glad we chose this t.v.!

This products buffers a lot

Overall good product but it does not have enough buffer to allow smooth experience of internet content like youtube or tmz etc. Every now and then picture freezes an the bufferring circle starts. Other than that, great codecs and plays every type of local content that i have except of course the ifo files (ripped dvds) wish samsung fixes this.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: buffers all the time

hdmi ports broke within a year of purchase

hdmi ports on my tv don’t work now after less than a year of owning the television. frustrating and kind of a lot of work to get a television fixed (shipping and money etc.).
Pros: Bright display
Cons: hdmi ports broke easily
