Great phone!

I recently purchased this phone to replace my SamsungA747 which I absolutely LOVED and did not want to part with. Finally, the camera stopped working so I had no other choice. I liked the larger fonts on this Strive and the keyboard. The screen is big and bright. The only thing I didn't like was that the slider was difficult for me to open without hitting the keypad buttons. I haven't used the music feature because I don't use my phone for that. I just wanted a good phone for texting, making phone calls and taking pictures. The only other feature I wish I could do with this phone is to change my display colors ocassionally, which is just my own quirk that I like to do from time to time. GREAT little phone.
I would recommend this to a friend!

"Strive" for perfection

A great phone at a great price. Does everything I require of a cell phone and more. Looks good and is easy to operate. What more could anyone want. The ringer volume is a bit lower than I would like. Even when I have it turned up all the way it is a bit low but not so low as to make it difficult to hear.
Finally, a phone that has the features I want, in the COLOR I want, too! It's a great phone for calls, texting, and Web use, although I'm mainly a calling/text user. It fits easily into my pocket or my leather belt holster, and slides open quickly for me to use the FULL Qwerty keyboard! I didn't have that on my last phone, so I love having it now! The battery lasts a long time, and I can text or have a long call without worrying about it going dead on me ~ I live in a rural area, not near cell towers, so phones tend to pull more power for usage. The only drawback I can think of is the difficulty in getting the back off to access the battery and SIM card. It's a bit hard to grasp, for me, but I have a little arthritis in my fingers, too. It's a good phone, and inexpensive! LOVE the COLOR!!! Thank you, Samsung!! ~(And AT&T!)
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, love the color of the phone, nice size screen display, qwerty!
Cons: difficulty getting battery compartment open
I would recommend this to a friend!

Product has problems

I am very disappointed in this phone. The camera is horrible, the video camera has horrible sound. The phone is an awkward size. The phone's sound while talking is bad as well as people being able to hear you. I have problems sending text messages, it just says "Message Failed". I took it back under warranty I have the same problem with the new phone. Next time I do research first :)
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Too big, Did not meet expectations, texting issues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
