Samsung Strive™ Qwerty Cell Phone Is A Must Have

I was a bit intimidated with this phone at first because I had only tried flip phones. I was merely a matter of sitting down with the phone and learning to use the features. Now, I am able to manage several accounts on line, downloading apps and texting is easier with this phone. Service is excellant also. The Strive is my second Samsung purchase and I will continue to be a customer of this brand.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was skeptical when my service provider recommended this model. Their comission is based on sales, and sometimes that's at odds with a consumer's needs. However, after having this model for a period of time, I've come to realize that for once, they were right.
Aside from the overall toughness (I'm rough on phones), user friendliness (because I'm not tech savvy), and comprehensive features (all the right stuff), the Strive is like a digital swiss army knife. There is always a tool when and where you need it.
I live and travel in an area with limited coverage, too. In my experience, my Strive has good connectivity in places my wife's phone (same carrier, different manufacturer) does not.
All in all, I'd recommend one of these for anyone I care about without hesitation.

I give performance and value the lowest rating possible and after recent experiences it makes me want to never buy another Samsung EVER again.
Had an extremely important and sentimental voice mail on there that I was saving, the stupid phone DELETED it on its own!
Reception is also horrible, says I'll have full bars and won't let me make a call or text message.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Strive!

I'm an older user so it does not have more bells and whistles than I need. I like the fact that it locks when I slide it shut and it's ready to use when I slide it open (my last phone was constantly trying to connect to the internet because the app button happened to be the very one that was always accidentally pushed!)
It's not exactly intuitively designed but I'm learning!

The battery life is terrible, the battery gets hot when charging, the keyboard is too small, and the default lock that can't be modified is a huge annoyance!
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations, battery life, default lock, hot battery, small keyboard
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It was the type of phone I wanted after using an iPhone. Has that I need at this time and works faster. Real easy to use for texting, and Facebook.

DAUGHTER LOVES IT

This was purchased for my 15 yr old daughter as her first cell phone, she loves it. Very easy to use, great functions for a first time cell user, keyboard took a bit to get the hang of, but once she did there was no stopping her & she loves the color.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
