OK starter phone-only the basics

Txt'ing is OK but little slow. Menu is hard to navigate but the shortcuts help a lot. Menu is different than any other phone I have used so I had to dig forever and constantly look at manual to learn how to find things from scratch. The GUI menu is ok, text menus are poor at best. Phone is a little sluggish. Ring tones are almost non-existant...plan on loading them yourself. Initial setup-back light did not turn off, a reset of the phone fixed that. Compared to my old razor, the qwerty keyboard is much better for txt, but compared to my droid x2...well lets just say it is totally unfair comparison. :-) The contact list is a bit of a challenge to use and there is no way you can dial with this phone if you need to concentrate on anything else (my ol' reliable Razor is much better for just making phone calls). For kids and people who only use the phone moderately, it is a good little phone. It is very light! (one big plus). and it fits in a pocket perfectly. Not my personal favorite, but I tried to be fair.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, processor is slow.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Clear sound. Crisp screen. Easily customizable. Only challenge is for a guy with large hands. Small keypad with a full keyboard difficult to navigate without bumping the wrong keys from time to time. Everything else about this phone, however, makes it difficult for me to be upset with anything but my own cursed hands.
This phone is awesome for texting! My only complain is that the keys are really small, and that sometimes it freezes- when you hit the back button to get out of a menu it glitches and shows you the menu you are already on a few times before actually going back. Otherwise, great phone!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable
I would recommend this to a friend!

nice phone for the person who just wants to keep in touch with family and friends through calls and text. I don't have a need to use it as a computer so I can't comment on it's use for the internet, etc.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

over all phone is ok have not had it long enough to determine the down side of it.
This is a beautiful phone. It has a full keypad which is great for texting! The messages are like chat messages in bubbles. When someone sends you a fwd, you have to click on the pic and the song seperately to see them. The screen is nice and big, gets great service, keypad locks after 5 sec,so no butt dialing. Takes o.k. pictures,no flash. Has quite a few web options if you have that included in your plan.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, easy to use, great for non-techies
Cons: Did not meet expectations, pictures not great, recorded sound not great
I would recommend this to a friend!

The phone was a good deal for the performance. Call quality could be a little better and the battery life is very short especially in cold weather.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: battery life is weak
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have only had this phone for a few days, but I am fairly satisfied with it so far. Coming from a different brand of phone, the functions and features of this phone were pretty easy to get used to. It was a little confusing at times but overall not to bad. Screen is bright, buttons are pretty easy to push, but the slide is kinda clunky and a little too wobbly as well. purple color is super cute but would be better if it was all over, not just on the front. Sound is also good.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
