Love the gridde!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this oven a few months ago and have not had any issues. The griddle is an excellent feature that is easy to use but make sure you season it at a high temperature first to keep things from sticking. I do a lot of baking so the oven space on this 36" model has been a wonderful. Can't say enough about this oven! Absolutely love it!

Heavy duty + intuitive electronics

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife is very happy with the range. She's an avid cook, and this range is suited to her near-professional needs. It has all the most professional features, including an electronic interface that is very easy to use. Another feature which curiously was lacking in a lot of other ranges is self cleaning oven.

Nice stove

Like the amount of BTUs, which requires adjusting cooking habits and recipes. Like the griddle, but have had problems with pancakes. First side goes great, but second side
really sticks. Are there any guide lines for what temperature the griddle should be set
for cooking particular foods and related pre-heat times?
Do have some concerns bout the extension rack. It is very difficult to remove and install.
We have opted to not use it. It also has a tendency to droop when extended, creating an unsafe situation. Also if you do not leave at least one space above the standard rack, that lower rack can not be pulled out. On the whole we really the stove!

Couldn't Be Happier!

After lots of research, reading reviews and comparing features, prices etc. we purchased the KitchenAid range as part of a kitchen remodel. We couldn't be happier. The burners offer great temperature control, the oven is precise in maintaining temperature and the griddle works great. The key to the griddle is to allow for 20 minutes of warm-up and to heat it up to clean it as is outlined by KitchenAid. Not a big deal. We ordered a stainless KitchenAid cover for the griddle for when it's not in use (should have been included at this price point) that helps keep it free of spatter from cooking on the burners. The keypad beeps too much when cleaning even when locked is my only real annoyance. The black bed for the burners looks good after use. We had a Monogram stainless cooktop in another home and the stainless around the burners tends to discolor after use-not so with the KitchenAid This design looks much better in the long term. Overall it works great, looks great. Highly recommended!
