Did the download, plugged it in. No light, no power to the unit. Tried several USB ports with no impact to the unit. It just did not work.

Does what it's supposed to do, not what I wanted
on January 26, 2025

The image is very confusing. There's a blue box with a VGA port, a black box with a VGA port, and a wire leading to a USB-A plug. I bought it off Amazon on my phone and didn't notice the VGA port on the blue box did not have a blue face, indicating it was a plug, not a socket. The black box contains two such VGA sockets. The blue box is the VGA plug that should plug into your computer's VGA socket.
I was looking for a device I could plug into my computer's USB-A port that would allow me to show two different images on two different monitors, and these monitors only have VGA ports. I don't even have a VGA port on my laptop. This device allows you to mirror *the same* image for two different monitors. It does that very well. It doesn't do what I want at all.

Thank you taking the time to review our ST122LE. We apologize if it was unclear that this VGA splitter requires both a USB and VGA connection to the computer and that splitters such as ST122LE are meant to duplicate the same image across two displays. A USB video adapter would be more suited to connect from USB and extend across multiple displays from a laptop. If you would like a personalized recommendation, our Technical Support team are happy to help by phone, chat, or email.
