The worst phone I have ever owned.

Personally after owning this phone for 2 days i could very easily pick out it's flaws. After owning this phone for a little over a year the resistive touch screen stopped working and the front layer of the touch screen peeled off. I couldn't even make a call, I could only recieve them. Before the phone broke i realized that one of its many flaws, was that it had horrible calibration, even when I did calibrate it. It also had a very noticable lag, overall this phone isn't worth buying don't even waste your time looking at it, i learned the hard way, but I won't be buying another LG brand phone. If you do still proceed to buy this phone dispite this review i highly recomend a replacment plan, due to the fact its prone to breaking.
Pros: worst phone

Not what I expected.

Yes, the LG Prime is a good phone, has good features, and works just the way some people like it to. I was recommended to it and was disappointed on a couple things. first the battery life is not exactly the best if you use it longer than 3hrs. straight talking you need to charge it when your done. But as for texting feel free to text all you like cause it won't lose charge until you have to sleep and you can just plug it in at you bed side. My other problem was if you don't have a case you need one the screen is just too fragile. But, overall I will give the prime a 4 star rating because it did what I needed it to do at the time.
Pros: easy to use, Quality

Truly a terrible product

The reviewer who titled their review "worst phone I've ever owned" summed up what I wanted to say already, but I thought I'd offer just one more bit of feedback. Touch screen was awful at best; had the sensitivity of a rock, and the calibration never really changed anything. Best part was, every once in a while it would just stop working. For no reason. Removing the battery would fix the problem for a while, but within a day or two the problem was back. Eventually the middle third of my screen completely gave out, followed about 3 hours later by the rest of the screen. This phone turned me off from the LG brand for good.
Pros: makes your life miserable

i bought the lg prime about 6 months ago and at first i thought it was a good deal for a cheap touch screen phone. however soon after i started to personalize it i found it very slow when loaded with a 4gb memory card, the manual stated it can accept up to a 16 gb card but i couldnt imagine how slow that would be! my final problem with it was the qwerty keyboard. for some reason it loved to enter "v" instead of the space button and when i tried to use the backspace function it would enter the letter L instead. it could just be my fat fingers or maybe the phone was intended for a more female base. other than the problems listed it is a very sturdy, reliable and user friendly phone. i love the fm player on it. nice addition!
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall Nice Phone

Overall, this is a very good phone for the money. The camera takes decent pictures with the added bonus of shooting video. There are a surprising amount of photo editing tools built into the phone as well. The phone is easy to use with well place buttons. The biggest, and only complaint I have with the phone is the slowness of it. We all get spoiled by owning lightening-fast iPod Touches and iPhones, so a phone like this which lags a little when opening some menus leaves us a little disappointed. Typing on the touch screen I have found is just as fast as using a physical QWERTY keyboard on phones like my old one. The keyboard makes good use of the screen size. If you're looking for a really basic little MP3 player there is no need to look farther than this phone because there is a nice MP3 feature built in, along with FM radio and a full 3.5 mm headphone jack. Photos are very nice on here as they take advantage of the full 3 in. screen.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had this phone for about 2 months now, and I have to say so far it has been a great phone. It's easy to use and straight to the point unlike some phones that confuse you more than help. The keyboard has been my only dissapointment so far. The buttons are so touchy, if your going to hit the "abc" button alot of times it will hit the one next to it. It's like that with all of the buttons so alot of times I have to go back and fix the mistakes due to it's sensitivity. Other than that I am very satisfied and would definately recommend it to someone looking for a nice phone at a great price!

I bought this phone and love it and all the features it had to offer especially for the price, however i had this phone for less than two months and it froze up completely. I have friends that had this phone too and it done the same thing with them and not to mention i've looked at a ton of reviews from others who have complained about this same problem. I want to buy another LG but am worried that i'll be without a phone especially if i needed it for an emergency.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings

Don't buy this

Two main complaints. Often times, I will be texting someone and after about an hour, don't get a reply. The phone decided to stop receiving signal for anything. My other is that the phone doesn't respond to key presses when I am talking to someone. Which would be lovely and all if that also means that I can't change my voicemail I made early freshman year thinking I was cool. I am not a Junior, applying for jobs and college embarrassed to leave a phone number. I plan on buying a new phone asap. I got the phone in the first place because I dropped mine in a puddle and this was my moms old one which I did not have to pay for.
