Perfect Network Printer

Initially I thought a Wireless printer was the best choice however when I tried one I had a Loss of Wireless Connection too often. HP Tech support recommended the P1606dn printer and it works like a champ.
My only complaint is: Upon a Power loss it doesn't return to a READY State when power is restored. Because I use HPEprint when I'm not at home and power is lost here too often, this has become a slight annoyance.
All the other HP printers I have owned and the Photosmart 7560 I still have return to a ready state when power is restored! MAYBE A FUTURE FIRMWARE UPDATE WILL CORRECT THIS....HINT HINT

We purchased 3 HP LaserJet Pro P1606dn Printers for our law office for lawyers and staff. So far, so good. They appear to have good quality, good response time and are relatively fast. Note, however, at least my printer is very loud, with a pretty discernible bump noise for each page that prints. So, assuming I can live with the noise, it's a keeper.

Good economy network printer

The P1606dn is a good overall network laser printer. The duplex option was the deciding feature for me, and works great.
The only negative is that I needed to go to the HP website and download a firmware update, in order to add the printer to our MAC computers, but this was not evident in the setup information.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Laser

This was my first personal laser, I came from the ink cartridge nightmare. I couldn't be any more pleased. In fact, I am now looking at a color laser. Thank you HP!

Ideal personal laser printer. Very fast with no delay to print when idle for a while. Fastest double-sided printing I've ever encountered. Setup hassle free.

Imac problems

When using this product with an iMac you are pretty much left on your own to figure out which method to use to download the driver and software and also how to use the features. HP tech support was not very helpful.
However, the print quality is outstanding.
I would recommend this to a friend!
