Excellent printer for the money. We purchased this to have in our family room downstairs to use for laptops and iPad. Setup was very easy for the laptops and easy for the iPad with AirPrint after we downloaded the firmware update for the printer (after seeing the issue on a forum).
If you want straightforward black and white printing that's wireless this is for you. It has a small footprint which is also just what we needed. The sleep mode works well---wakes right up when you send a print job, although my wife noticed she did have to turn it on once after not using it for a number of days. Not a big deal in my mind.
Recommended!

I switched to a MacBook Pro from a Windows PC and discovered that the OS does not support my perfectly good HP LaserJet 1020. I never had one problem with my "old" printer so I knew that I had to purchase the Mac supported equivalent. There are several upgrades and improvements in the new P1102w that I really like. All in all you just can't beat this printer considering the functions and the price.

The price was perfect and I am very pleased with the product for a low duty laser printer. It prints fast enough and its footprint is very manageable. Its not like most low duty laser printers that are very bulky.

If you want a laser printer that has a small footprint and is fast to print in black and white, the HP Laserjet Pro P1102w is hard to beat. It's fast, it's wireless and very reasonably priced. Online instructions will make establishing the wireless much easier.

Probably the easiest setup of any printer I have purchase. I have to note that I do not do a lot of printing, as this is for personal use. However, I have had zero problems so far.
