if you print text most of the time, this is your printer! I like the hp inkjets (have the 6500 and another) but find myself just needing text documents at home. this is perfect. got it working wirelessly with both Windows 7 and New hp envy windows 8 touchsmart. nice small size, just right! I have modest printing needs, so hoping the included cartridge lasts a long time. won"t dry up like inkjet either. I would recommend and glad I have it.

After 19 years, I had to replace my LaserJet 5P. It still worked flawlessly but a new toner cartridge was almost as expensive as this new printer. After connecting the P1102w to my iMac via a usb cable, I was amazed at how fast it was. The print quality is excellent and the software driver duplex printing feature works great. I would have given a five star rating if the instructions to connect the WiFi function was explained better. Once WiFi was enabled, I was able to print to the P1102w from my iPad anywhere in the house.

Not wireless with Mac OS 10.8.2

The printer does not work wirelessly with Mac OS 10.8.2. The website info seems to be mis-leading on this issue. Customer service has no clue as to when or IF they will create the software to make this happen. Works fine with USB...just not what I was hoping for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
