Great Buy for my Small WIreless Network

Super price for nice featured wireless laser printer. I have wireless network of 3 Windows 7 PC's and a couple other older printers, and was in need of an inexpensive fast wireless laser for reports, end of day point of sale use, and general printing in my golf course clubhouse. This printer has a nice small footprint. Installation on the network and all PC's was quick and easy. I was up and printing within an hour of opening the box. I'm still using a 16 year old Laser 6P hardwired to one of my PC's, and this P1102w is lightning fast in the wireless mode. Perfect addition to my network.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This laser printer was very easy to setup. Easier than I anticipated for a wireless laser printer. I would recommend this product if someone is looking for a laser that is easy to set up and prints GREAT!!

fast, 2-sided manual printing, small footprint

Very impressed! I do training presentations at remote locations, where I provide handouts to each participant, but I never know how many handouts I will need. Because I do not want to waste/store leftovers nor be short of handouts, I need to be able to print on the fly at the meeting. This printer is fast and the manual 2-sided printing is as simple as lifting the first sides from the output tray and dropping them back into the input tray. I am able to print additional handouts while giving my training without too much thought and no errors. In addition, being small and lightweight makes transporting this printer by car easy. Th HP LaserJet P1102w fits my needs exactly!

Fast and clear, but...

I like the speed of printing and the wireless features of this machine; but for the price, it should be able to handle two-sided printing in a more automatic fashion. It does have a nice footprint and the set up was easy; but it needs a consistently strong wireless signal to perform well -- has a tendency to start and reload the entire job if there is any signal interference and paper gets wasted.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We got this printer about 12 days ago and it has been great so far. Given some of the reviews I read, I was a little concerned about the difficulty setting it up for wireless. I started out with the USB connection, updated the software and firmware and then did not have any problems setting up the wireless connection. We can now print from our laptop and our iphones. We switched from an old laserjet printer and have been impressed with the speed and print quality of this printer. To avoid disappointment, read the product description so you do not expect features this product does not have. It is great at what is supposed to do.

Bought this to use on my client work site. Printer is easy to transport, light weight, small and attrative on desk top, easy to set up. Prints quickly with good quality. Good value. Has all the features I need for efficient black and white printing.
