Excellent Product

I'm impressed with the surge protector's overall quality. The COAX surge protector didn't negatively affect my antenna signal at all; picture is still awesome! Also, I like the peace of mind provided by APC's $300,000 Lifetime Connected Equipment Protection. If you're looking for an affordable surge protector to protect your home entertainment system you can't go wrong with this product.

This device saved all of our electronic equipment. We had a huge lightening storm and this surge protector took the full hit and everything is safe except the surge protector. It was fried. I called the company and they said they are sending a new one immediately.

Lightning does strike twice.

We had a Non-APC vendor power surge protecting our outside cable coax line and a network cable coming into our house from the outside (my husband does astrophotography in the backyard and needs network connectivity better than wireless.) Well lightning struck the back of our yard and took out BOTH the coax and Cat5e network cable, long with very piece of IT gear we had. It took 2 weeks to get us back up and running with Comcast. I'm hoping this does better. We are using both the network and coax surge protectors and most of the plugs. We are crossing our fingers.

Ethernet protection died

After 5 months i had trouble with my network connection. After I filtered out everything (modem, router, cable, switch, etc.) i realized that everything works fine if i bypass the APC ethernet protection.
I expected longer lifetime than 5 months.

great and good price

This appears to be well-made and, despite what some other reviewers state, the battery seems to be easily removable and replaceable if ever need be. I'm using it solely to keep my home network (ARRIS TG1682G Xfinity Gateway) and security hub (iSmartAlarm CubeOne HUB) running in the event of a power outage. I flipped the circuit breaker to test it and it kept my network/security running for over 2 hours and appeared to still have some juice left when I ended the test. As an added bonus, it also has a single USB power port that I can use in a pinch to charge my mobile phone or tablet. This unit fits my needs for a reasonable price.

Surge Power Strip

An excellent piece of equipment necessary for any home or business. We have deployed many of these in various locations and have had no failures to this date. It accommodates larger transformers without losing any outlets. In Florida we have frequent lighting storms and this gives us piece of mind knowing we are protected.
