I HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH THE UNIT.
THE PICTURE AND SOUND QUALITY IS FANTASTIC!
MY WIFE IS AMAZED AT THE 3D - THE PICTURE IS JUST UNBELIVABLE.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, the hd quality is "great"
Cons: none so far

Wow! I recently purchased this TV over several other brands and Samsung models. The crystal clear smooth picture is mesmerizing and the internet features are handy. I can't wait until I get more 3D videos to watch this TV really come to life.
From a first time plasma owner, my only suggestion would be for Samsung to include more information about plasma image burning and prevention. While the TV has and awesome prevention tool which erases any ghosting, it would have been nice to have a warning telling you to wait about 1000 hours of play before using some gaming and computer devices. Now that it have "broken in" the TV this seems to be a very limited issue.
Great product. I highly recommend it if you are in the market.
Pros: easy plug and play features
Cons: should suggest "break in" period to avoid ghosting

Great TV and Value

Choice came down to this model and one from another company. Went with this one based on reviews and price. Got it up and running and it looks great. Have used it to convert 2D to 3D and even those look good, not great, but good. Lots of customization. One thing I miss, that my other TVs have is the ability to block specific channels with parental controls. I can not seem to do that with this TV.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: lack of detailed parental controls

I love this TV! I didn't go out looking ofr a 3D TV, but after seeing demos, decided I definitely wanted 3D in my next TV. Reviews from Consumer reports and CNET convinced me that plasma was the best choice for 3D, and after buying this TV, I am thrilled. The 3D is awesome, but the 2D picture is better than LCDs I have seen, also. I will look at Samsung as my first choice when I buy another TV.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, thin

The picture is wonderful. The screen is very bright and the colors are correct. It is eco-friendly. the internet feature is just what I wanted. The 3D is amazing my neighbors. This is an excellent TV that I would recommend (and already have) to all my friends. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase..

I was really excited to get this TV. The picture quality is excellent but the unit has TERRIBLE motion crawl. Whenever a background is moving with a stationary image in the foreground the stationary image has a sever blur around it (think of the predator's camo, this is what the effect looks like). There is also severe motion blur when there's a lot of movement or action. I'm really disappointed in this set, if I could I would upgrade to the 8000 series as from what I've read this is not a problem with these sets. Also the set produces a buzzing sounds, this is not a big problem as it can only be heard from 24" away. I wish I had caught this within the return window as I would have gotten a different TV.

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, motion blur, halo effects, buzzing sound
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
