This Philips TV has great colors, amazing image and sound quality. Initial start wizard helps you to set correct TV settings, network, image preferences and audio settings. It was very easy, trouble-free and it takes about 3-7 minutes. Wi-Fi works fine and I didn't experience any troubles with it. I've plugged-in my Mac mini by HDMI port and got perfect picture, readable and clear text (don't forget to switch to PC mode in TV settings).
TV settings navigation is intuitive, logical and well structured. There are a lot of features to improve image quality, but after initial setup I adjusted only one of them. This is one of my best user experiences with different tech devices.
I would definitely recommend this product and brand to all my friends.
Pros: user friendly interface, buit-in wifi, easy setup, pc mode, thin design
Cons: missing full functional web-browser

I just got the tv at this boxing day,it realy performed than what i can image before.it is easy to setup the wifi and even you can just control with you smart phone or ipad.....,(youtube).
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great display, but missing features expected in a smart tv

Great display, resolution, contrast and vivid colours that I would expect in a modern TV, all for a very reasonable price.
The media center feature makes it easy to use as a computer display as well. Integrated netflix and wifi are easy to setup.
Only fatal flaw these tv's lack is integrated bluetooth so I can easily use a wireless keyboard for text entry, and a basic web browser. I don't expect the power computing of a laptop or a tablet, but I do expect a basic webbrowser be integrated to allow simple surfing or displays of online information without needing to connect a computer or being limitted to using integrated applications.

Slow, Netflix app stops working

This products apps will stop working after a few months and the support sites offer no options to solve the problem. No clear directions on how to remove or add apps either.

best value for 40 inch tv

I expect sharp picture and surround sound in a TV, this TV has 120 Mhz refresh rate that I was looking for, the color are vivid and pop. The speakers for this TV are in the back of the TV and are loud, I've had this TV for 2 weeks and have no complaints on ease of use and quality. I've yet to test rain sound and see if the surround sound works as I expect, but seems good so far.
Pros: vivid colors, loud speakers
Cons: screen is not big enough

TV not working after 4 years

i bought this tv in march 2104 and it stopped working a week ago, normally a TV lasts more than 10 years with out any issues, i also own a samsung tv and a sony tv which i bought more than 10 years ago and they are still working great, i wanted to give a try with philips and i think i shouldnt have done so, i seems like they have a problem of tv not power ON and wont respond to remote control as well...i dont know if its even covered for any repairs now..may be this will be my last purchase of philips products
