This is my 3rd Plasma TV from Samsung. I am very much pleased with their product. Didn't think their will be much difference between 720 and 1080, but their is. I have 720 Plasma's in my other rooms, and decided to put another in the guess room. The picture was great, bright, and sharp. Lot better than the previous TV that was in that room. Saw the Philly Eagles dismantle Houston, and the detail on Vick's face during the interview was great. More detail on 1080, then 720. My next purchase will always be Samsung.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: none
I would recommend this to a friend!

Basically, the picture on this Plasma is spectacular. It doesn't have all the widgets and internet tools of higher priced TV's, but do you really need all of that on a Plasma TV? The Anynet+ works great with my Samsung BD-P4600 and Samsung AS730ST Home Theater system and Comcast HD DVR set top box. The backlit remote is nice. If you want a basic Plasma TV with an excellent picture for watching TV look no further. The Screen Protection features are top notch, there is no ghosting, no burn in. I use the scrolling feature periodically just to get in the habit of running it. Football, Basketball and Boxing also look great. The calibration settings for Movie mode can also be found on the internet, making Blu-ray movies look spectacular. The only thing that I noticed and I had to look hard for it, was one dead pixel, it stays lit red but it is difficult to find, I was really up close to the TV looking for it to find it on an all white screen. No worries, Plasma technology allows for each pixel to have it's own phospherous connection to the circuit board so it shouldn't be a problem. All in all this is an excellent TV for watching HD TV/Movies and Blu-ray.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: one dead pixel

i recent bought it on the nov 25 of this year. But when i read all the reviews of this product i was wondering if it was the right decision that i made.???? Samsung is a great product don't get me wrong. But know that i own this i am deciding of returning it back for a LED LCD HDTV ( another brand ). The only thing that i don't like about it is the noise of the engine of the tv that makes. It's common to make it but after a while i still hear it. The only reason i bought this Tv was for gaming. And the price was super great. Other than that i have nothing wrong with it beside that engine noise. But i will Still recommended.
i could not be any happier with this tv this is my first plasma tv and i cant find one bad thing about it.the picture is great good features and i really like the samsung pc share i can stream my media from my pc to my tv how cool is that..
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

This TV gives quality HD from cable and blue ray. I also use it as my second computer monitor with my laptop the has HDMI and the quality is incredible.
I have enjoyed this set for about a month now, and it "appears" to be a great product and great value. I was very concerned up-front when shopping for a new TV that plasma sets could be more troublesome than LCD's and LED's. I had heard conflicting reports regarding some of the concerns for plasma sets, but continually received assurances from sales personnel that the "early problems" of plasma sets were now fixed. Time will tell, but I must admit that I am still anxious regarding the horror stories of screen burn-in problems. I'm aware that the plasma manufacturers have re-engineered their products since the early days, but it is still unnerving to read all the consumer warnings one finds in the owner's manual. It also is unsettling to read that potential screen burn-in is not covered by the warantee. Other than that worry, I am a happy camper.
