Am very happy with the quality of the Samsung tv. The extra features available with this model make it very usful in numerous applications. The picture quality is second to none, I own three Samsung TV's and consider Samsung the top of the line in Television quality.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this tv at fred meyer on sale for a great deal back in feb this year and it has been the best tv i have ever owned. I trust in the samsung brand and have pursued many others to buy samsung as well. cable, games, pictures, bluray, this tv will handle it all.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Samsung 50" Plasma TV

We have been very happy with this TV. Purchased the last week of October. Set-up was very easy and getting it configured for our home theater equipment was pain free. Our TV connects to Sony's Blu-ray/Google TV appliance, which connects to our AT&T HD cable box. We have Bose Cinemate II speakers which also connect to the Sony box, and have disabled the TV's built-in speakers. We selected this model over similar models from Panasonic and LG. All 3 we researched had anti-glare features, which were important considering the placement of the TV. Very pleased with the anti-glare feature. It doesn't completely eliminate glare, and we didn't expect it would, but it is not noticeable, even in daylight unless you look for it. The picture is wonderful using settings we located on the Internet. My only complaint is that according to Samsung's website there is a firmware upgrade for the TV. However, I have been unable to get it installed using Samsung's directions. For whatever reason, the TV refuses to locate the firmware update file on the USB drive that I plug into the TV. I have not pursued this issue with Samsung as of the date of this review. This is the reason I rated performance one less star than other categories. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this TV. It's features and price gave it the advantage over similar brands.

The picture quality is great and very easy to set up. I would not hesitate to purchase another Samsung. It was just great for the price. everybody from my family was surprised at the quality. we all were so happy. will always buy samsung from now on!!!!!!!!!

Since we got it we have been giving it a good test on performance and it has perform excellant with no problems at all.

I've had this TV for almost a month and the PQ is great. Only complaint would be sound, but it's not bad.
