I was not really sure about getting a plasma.I have a lcd tv already but I think it was a good choice.So far the plasma seem so much much better than my lcd.The picture is great and the refresh rate {600hz} is great.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

The Buzz Won't Stop!

A constant buzzing can be heard when listening/watching at a lower volume, it is very annoying. Minus this issue it is a very good TV for the money.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: constant buzzing

burn in paranoia!

i just bought my tv set, and it looks and work great, still learning about all the features, my only concern so far is this paranoia about my screen getting burn ins, I was watching a sports channel for about 30 mins that keeps an on screen window all the time, I turned off the tv and then back on after a few hours, and the image was ghosting on the screen, it dissapear after i run the scroll feature, but it is kind of a hassle. besides that everything else is awesome.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: burn in hassle

Hard to Believe

It is hard to believe this TV received so many good reviews. They must have written them right after purchase. My TV failed within 2 years and of course it wasn't under warranty. I noticed a small vertical black line about 6 months ago, and now another is forming. I noticed many of other owners of the set had the same problem. Just search online and you will find many complaints. Why hasn't Samsung addressed this? The cost to fix this set is about half of the original purchase price which is very unreasonable. Shameful I have to buy a new TV after such a short time.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
