Wonderful Picture

We bought this TV to replace a Phillips, which broke down a lot and was 5 yrs old. This TV is light weight...even though same screen size its smaller TV flatter against wall takes up less space. Picture is wonderful and bright. I like the sound features and the format features are easy to work. I am a little disappointed that this TV doesn't have any internet even though it has a plug in back for it, that part made no sense, but if you don't care about internet on your TV then this would not be a problem for you. We have internet on everything else so this wasn't a huge problem nor a problem big enough to stop us from buying it. Colors are bold and brilliant. Love the TV so far. We also asked our TV repair man <because he was out so much fixing old TV> which brand he would recommend and he said Samsung is the brand he gets the LEAST repair calls on. Which to us was a big buying factor.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, different volume selections

Probably the best TV I have ever owned,. Picture is crystal clear and sound quality is excellent. I had absolutely no problems setting it up to my surround sound system, Blu-ray or cable box, every thing worked the first time.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color

50" 550 Series 1080p Plasma HDTV

This is second Plasma HDTV. First was 42" Dell that lasted 5+ years before pixel loss. This TV was great right out of the box and easy setup by me. Picture is just great and works really well with sound bar and blue ray. The blue ray has internet connection and movies from BlockBuster is just great.
Price was right when compared to LED 1080p 240Hz non-3D. I shopped hard and did not want 3D and this is the only TV that met my expectations.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color

We previously had purchased an LCD model from another manufacturer and were very displeased with the distortion in the picture and were cautious. This model truely delivers with a vivid, clear picture, and no distortion from angles. The TV was easy to set up, provides excellent sound quality as well as visuals and was an awesome value for the price. I would make this purchase again.

great for blu ray, games and sports

i love my tv!!! i ended up purchasing this one because out of all of them in the store, this one was the clearest when it came to sports. it also said it was the best for video games both of which i view alot. i am very satisfied and would recommend this to anyone that has the same preferences as me

I purchased this unit along with a surround sound system the night before having friends over for the Super Bowl. I was pleasently surprised when everything worked after using just two HDM1 cables-1 to the satellite reciever box and 1 to the surround sound-then a Digital optical out cable to the DVD/surround sound.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color

Plasma at it's BEST

This is my second plasma tv and I will not buy anything but plasma. The other types (lcd/led) are goo but not great. You have extremely fast refresh rates and they are second to none. You can spend thousands on 120hz, 240hz, and 480hz processors but plasma is 600HZ. Superb for sports and action and dont let them fool you about screen glare its not a drawback. Best bang for your buck.

Cons: none it's a plasma!
