Great features, but.....

I've had this unit for 3 years and it's been truly fantastic, great color, clarity and viewing. HOWEVER, I just got a thin horizontal line across the screen, about 2/3s of the way up the screen. It's only about a millimeter thin, but it's very annoying. Bottom line, it's out of warranty. But that's not really the point. I expect better from Samsung. Very disappointed.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing picture

I spent a lot of time researching tv options online, but no amount of tech specs or opinions can compare to viewing displays side by side. After several trips to big box/warehouse stores, I knew no other display could match the Samsung plasma, at least as far as I was concerned. I have had this tv for almost two years, and it looks just as good today as the day I bought it. I have it hooked up to a home theater system, so I can't comment on sound quality, but the picture continues to blow me away.
I would recommend this to a friend!
