We bought this same set in both a 46" and a 55". The picture is so clear that it almost has a 3D feel. The colors are crisp and vibrant. People complain about the "clouding", but you only see a bit when the screen is black. When anything comes on it disappears. Not enough to offset the fantastic picture quality. The only thing I don't like is that when you turn off the linked DVD player, the set returns to TV (antenna) mode. It's preset so it can't be over-ridden to go back to cable mode. Aside from that, we're very happy so far.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: see above
I would recommend this to a friend!

My wife and I love the TV. Got it to replace old 32 inch tube TV. HUGE improvement. The internet feature is very nice. Download movies directly from several vendors. HOWEVER, wireless functionality has room for improvement. Got wireless dongle with TV and new wireless N (E3000) dual band 300 Mbps router. Problem TV maxes out at ~2.4 Mbps. My laptop in same room ets ~144 Mbps. 2.4 Mbps is to slow to download full HD movies.
Have had this about 2 months. We love it. Great picture, great design, very thin. Perfect for our living room. Lots or research done for this one and was a very good purchase!
Absolutey awesome TV for the price. Worth every penny

I already have the Samsung 46B8500XF so I'm already familiar with Samsung televisions. I was skeptical about this model at first, since my 8500 is back lit and has a 240hz refresh rate (as opposed to the 6500 being edge lit and only 120hz refresh rate) , but once I saw the TV in the showroom, the picture was amazing. I especially like the ease of connectivity to the internet for streaming videos and using the other apps that are built into the set. No regrets what so ever. Awesome picture, awesome features, awesome design. I have already recommended this set to friends and have one buddy that already bought one!
I was amazed how great the picture was on this LED TV right out of the box. No setup required just plug and play, of course one has the option of fine tuning this set to their own preference. There are many settings that can be adjusted and of course the option of Picture Reset always helps those of us who tend to get carried away fine tuning.
I do agree with others that the sound quality is not the best but then again it is not terrible. Many opt for surrround sound systems but because of my situation I went with the Samsung HW-C450 Sound Bar, nice improvement.
Very easy to set up, even the internet portion was fairly easy.

Set up was no problem to do with the plug and play feature. The colors are excellent and easy to adjust to get them just right. Also it is very easy to program. I got the internet feature set up with no problem, and should have DSL internet service soon which will give me the speed that I need for it to function properly. The sound is OK considering the small speakers it has. It would be nice to have surrounded sound speakers which I will add later. It’s a nice set and is very enjoyable. I would recommend this.
I have been saving up gift cards for a new LED TV to be purchased before the Super Bowl. I am sooo looking forward to it because after watching the final playoff game on this TV, I know I will feel like I'm right there! (Except I won't be freezing!)
Pros: Built-in speakers, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, you really don't need 3d with this tv.
