Great second TV

I bought this TV to put in our bedroom. I love the smart TV features. My only complaint is that when I bought the device, the fact that it had a Napster client was a significant factor. Now that Napster has become Rhapsody, I'm very dissappointed that there is not a Rhapsody client. Also, the TV won't play my music library, which is all in high-quality variable bit rate WMA format. It will evidently only play constant-bit rate MP3 files, even though all the documentation says it will play WMA.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight, great styling
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Great TV

Our first venture into Blue-ray and 3D and TV is fantastic. The picture is stunning and a real joy to watch. I was skeptical about the 2D-3D conversion but it really does enhance the picture for some DVDs. The installer was very impressed with the picture quality, saying it was as good as much more expensive Samsung TVs.

Not so Smart TV

This product includes applications to interact with the internet. They have never worked. The Log in and Password elements are highly confusing, redundant and once past them open no access. The picture quality is acceptable but the features are quick to market, and clearly untested. The sound quality is poor to average, with settings that only make it worse. I will not buy a Samsung product again

Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing TV, not the best for sharing, though

Samsung really made an incredible TV here. It is definitely one to add to your short list if you are looking for a high-quality, HDTV.
That said, the add-on of DNLA and Samsung's AllShare products are not so great. Samsung, for whatever reason, is not contractually allowed to use a certain audio codec on DNAL/AllShare files. This means that most of us in the US will not be able to transfer audio along with our video to the TV. This essentially makes the entire service useless. Maybe Samsung should pay the licensing fee or whatever needs to happen. Until then, no 5 star overall review.
