Beautiful TV--no Video--great audio

Tv in store caught my eye as "the best for me". Bought in and a Sumsung Home Theater System on the spot. When I turned it on, it showed 8 seconds of video and went blank. Audio continued fine.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The picture is why you buy this TV. simply better than all the rest in this size. Plenty of hookups and well designed. I had a problem with the set changing to a dimmer view randomly, then we found out there is a setting to take that option off. I wish they had better instructions in the manual.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

Looks good but having troubles at the 5th month!!!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

If your looking for a 55 " tv ,this is the one .i have this tv for a few months The picture is sick ,you will see things in movies that you didnt see on your other tv..trust me the colors are just wow ....the sound is loud and clear....the only thing that could be a bad thing is you have to have a HD cable box or whatever service you have .If you dont the the picture will look fuzzy and not crisp ..you can watch tv on other channels but you just wont get the perfect pic ...so have a HDMI cable and HD service .shop around sometimes u can get floor models for alot less money ..fyi...

Great TV, but needs more internet apps, wireless internet connection easy to set up.

TV started strobing eleven months after purchase due to a faulty power supply. My brother bought the same television 2 weeks after me and now his TV is strobing also. Samsung replaced the power supply under warranty.
Cons: problems with power supply

The speakers leave a lot to be desired and the unit takes way to long to come on after you turn it on.
