I have always purchased Japanese TV but because of one bad experience, I have decided to try Samsung.
This is sharper than the other Japanese TV of similar size that I own.

i love it!!!:0) i have a 32 samsung but a 720 40 1080 is a lot better.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

It shows a picture, doesn't give trouble. The only nitpick I have is the channel labeling. For analog the 5 characters is not enough, for QAM they are not able to be labeled.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: channel labeing limited

Ater searching many TV's, SAMSUNG had all the features I was looking for in a TV of this type. Easy to install and then navigate to what I wanted to set up and do. I would definitely recommend this TV.

This was an upgrade from a 720 32" LCD (not a Samsung) and the difference was amazing. Even my wife was impressed and she hates anything new. In watching high def movies containing everything from fall colors, sunrises/sunset, and lush tropical foilage the colors pop at you. The sharpness of the display made you almost believe you were looking in the movie instead of watching it on TV. Even the refresh rate of 60 Hz showed no problems with an action movie . After reading reviews of several LCD TVs sound I was skeptical. Not the case. I'm even considering returning the sound bar I purchased the sound is so good. All I can say is "well done Samsung" and give this product an enthusiastic recommendation.

Very satisfied with my new Samsung LCD HDTV

I purchased my new LN40C530 a week ago and I'm very pleased with it. The User Manual is very clear and helpful to learning and using the tv's features. I'm happy with the quality of the picture and the sound. I had researched for several weeks before deciding to buy Samsung and although I would have preferred a different 40 inch model I am very satisfied and happy with this model.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Realistic color, Lightweight, swivel stand
Cons: a longer power cord would be nice
