SD Card Door Stuck

I bought this camera a month ago to shoot some pictures of friends and travels and the card door stops opening and the SD card is stuck in there. To make it better, the HDMI port isn't transferring the images from the camera to my computer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i have used this camera for less than 2 years and since the beginning i was getting a "busy" message soon after taking a picture but it would go away in secs but now the "busy" message shows up whatever i turn ON the camera and i am not able to use the camera, everything becomes frozen...i bought a new memory card class 10, did not work, i bought a new battery, did not work either, this camera was the most expensive i ever had and i really was expecting it would last more than that..
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this for years, and it has made a great camera. One of the unique features about this model that canon removed later on was the eye sensor to turn of the screen when your eye is near the viewfinder to reduce glare. On the newer models you have to focus and keep holding the focus button down or turn of the display, and that is why I keep going back to the T2i.
