Works well, but wasteful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer sweeper is totally useful for quick clean-ups. The dry cloths are good at picking up the never-ended puffs of cat fur that seem to collect in the corners of my old farmhouse, which often just seem to get blown around by a regular broom or the vacuum. The the wet cloths are good for quick clean-ups when things are a little messier. My biggest concern is the wastefulness of the Swiffer. I don't really love using anything that requires disposable refills. I'd rather have covers for the sweeper that I could throw in the wash and reuse, so I didn't feel so environmentally unfriendly using it.

Bye bye dust & dirt!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving the Swiffer Sweeper! I vacuumed my hard wood floors and then used the Swiffer Wet. They shined after using this. Then it was onto the kitchen where the tuff stuff lies. Again it shined when I was done. It even got some of the hard stuff off the floor. I used the dry Swiffer clothes behind the couches and it gathered all the dust bunnies. This is great for hard wood floors that love to collect animal hair and dust bunnies. Love!!!

Excellent on wood floors

Swiffer nicely and effectively cleaned all the pug hair dust bunnies from underneath the table and everywhere. It was so easy to maneuver too. I didn't realize how dirty my floors were until I used this! They literally gleam now.

Using the Swiffer Sweeper Kit Reloaded

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About 5 maybe even 10 years ago (who's counting, right?), back when the first Swiffers hit the market, I used the Swiffer Sweeper every week. It was my go to floor cleaning device right after the vacuum. I thought it was convenient and easy to use - coming from someone who is not talented with cleaning products. Little anecdote: I washed my laundry with dishwasher tabs until my boyfriend pointed out that I had the wrong tabs. By then I was already a good 4-6weeks in. But back to Swiffer: I got the broom out, the box with wet sweepers, pushed them into the flat piece and off I went. I was done quickly and was happy. Then I moved into a bigger place and realized that I needed multiple sweepers to get everything cleaned. I did that for a few weeks until it got too expensive. That was the end of my Swiffer journey.
Up until recently when I decided to give it another chance. I received the Base Starter Kit and a feeling of nastalgia overwhelmed me but in better. The broom looks prettier with its ergonomic handle. The flat end piece is cushioned which makes it easier to apply pressure for difficult spots. The wet Sweepers still attach with a press of the finger and still drip a little when you get them out of the box. I started cleaning, all excited and keeping my fingers crossed that the sweepers would last longer than they used to. My kitchen floors were shiny after sweeping through. Dried quickly - don't step on it too early or it will feel sticky on your feet - but.....the range was them same... I had to get a fresh sweeper for the dining room and another one for the stairs and entrance. Slowly a bit of disappointment washed over me. My main area of concern had stayed the same... It was still super easy to navigate through narrow areas - better than it used to be thanks to the improvements in the lower part. It also still cleaned very well while the sweeper was wet and it was still easy to attach the sweeper and get started. It was also very comfortable to hold and store away but but but...I wish it stayed moist longer and that I could cover more floor before having to change the sweeper. So it's only 4 out of 5 stars for me.

So easy to clean hardwood floors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really LOVE this Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit. It's so easy to assemble and the wet clothes just make the floor shine when you're done. I even managed to get the kids involved! That's my son proudly zipping around with the Swiffer. It's so light and easy to maneuver that they can help us keep the kitchen clean.
When you're done you just throw out the pad and goodbye yucky floor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the sweeper after discovering how much the 360 dustered the amount of time and effort I spent cleaning. My home has never looked so clean with so little time and effort. We have been remodeling and my Swiffer products have even managed to tackle the dust from that! I found myself singing Swiffer praises during Easter dinner when I was asked where I found the time to cook. These products are so effective in performance that my time spent cleaning my home is cut in half now. Needless to say my house is now a Swiffer house and I am happy to announce and spending half the time cleaning without overextending my budget and I'm getting to do more than things with my family yet still having my house in the condition I enjoy I actually purchased duster starter kits for my children and stepchildren for Easter and they too are in love with the results Where I was spending hours climbing up and down plus the cleaning products the sprays in the necessar where I was spending hours climbing up and down trying to make sure every crack and crevice was just reading it now becomes dust free with one swipe with my 360 dusters Instead of spending an hour with a broom and dust mop The sweeper takes care of it in less than 20 minutes and the final results far exceed the results I had with the broom Personally I am still amazed and cannot believe that I did not try Swiffer sooner

Swiffer works great for small spaces.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first used my swiffer, I intended to mop my the entire tile floor of my great room. After having to change the pads too quickly, (I used two on 3/4s of the room, it would've taken me three to do the whole room) I realized these are best for smaller jobs. For example, I used the swiffer to clean the area around my dogs' food dishes. It worked well for the nooks and tight corners. I also found it was a great way to dust around the baseboards. It handled well to be able to do that.
