Light work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Are you looking for a quick easy clean up for a small space? If you are looking for something that will just clean light dirt than this is for you if you are looking for something heavy duty this is not for you. It was super easy to put together and super easy to use however I would not recommend for large spaces with heavy dirt. Would recommend for dusting the floor, it also works great with pet hair on the dry option. The wet portion dries out rather quickly. I used on tile not on wood floor because there was a slight stickyness fter mopping that I would n not want on wood.

Swiffer Sweeper Kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was skeptical at first about the item actually being effective. Once we received it we tested it out in our kitchen which is tile. The sweeper did a fantastic job of getting up all of the dirt that had accumulated during the work week. It even got the dirt that usually gets trapped in the grout lines. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars is due to the wet mopping cloths. They dried out relatively fast, which I kind of expected. However, the big issue for us was that it didn't clean the grout nearly as much as we would have hoped. Aside from the grout they did a great job. But because it fell short with cleaning the grout lines I have to give it only 4 stars. Great product all around though. It's really tough to find an item that will clean the grout. Even for an item that is specifically for that purpose. This item does other tasks so it is a WIN in our book!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had a bit of a crowd over last night for our annual trim a tree party. A very hectic day indeed. I needed to buy a tree, put it up, prep food, and my least favorite…tidy up the house. I’m from the old school of cleaning (not sure why?) that if you don’t get down on your hands and knees with a bucket of soapy water your floors will not be clean. So my tree was up, the food all done and all I have left were the floors. I took the bucket out and proceeded to fill with hot water and cleaning solution and my husband asked what are you doing?? They’re only going to get dirty tonight anyway? He is from the school of “why make the bed you’re only going to sleep in it tonight”. So I figured this was the perfect time to try out the Swifter. I have wood floors throughout the house. I took out my starter kit it was very easy to put together, put on one of the wet pads and did the floors in literally 10 minutes! I’m embarrassed to say how filthy the pad was. So much for the old scrub bucket The bonus part was the floors looked really clean, not streaky, and I also liked the nice fresh scent. It looked like I had done them my old method there really wasn’t a difference. Since I was done so quickly I had time to treat myself to a nice hot bath before my guest arrived. A good time was had by all! Especially me

Not the best option for our floors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used our Swiffer twice before deciding it isn't right for us. It does gather a lot of dust, but leaves dirt and other things on the floor. We have better luck with a regular mop on our floors.

Best Home Clean Up Device Ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The swiffer is my FAVORITE cleaning device in my home. We have four cats who shed constantly, drag litter around the house, and spread food crumbs all over the kitchen. The swiffer makes clean up a breeze, so much so, that I do it almost every day now as opposed to when I had to pull out the vacuum (once a week). I love that it gives me the option of dry sweeping or wet sweeping for different needs. It picks up hair and tiny particles so much better than even my vacuum. It is lightweight, easy to maneuver around, and swivels nicely. The fact that it folds flat for storage is the icing on the cake. Can't say enough good things about the swiffer!!!

Dry then Wet

We have quite a bit of wood floors in the house and always need something to try and keep them clean with 4 kids, 2 cats, and 1 dog living in the house.
The Swiffer wasn't perfect, but a great product none the less.
I started with the dry pad first. One will need to vacuum before using the product as the larger items just simply got pushed around by the pad. It did well for dust/small hair though.
Next, the wet pad worked well. It cleaned the floor for the most part. I had to scrub extra hard on a few spots, but I imagine if I kept up on the wet mopping more often it would need less scrubbing.
I have used similar setups. I did like how it offered a dry and a wet option. If you need something for daily touchups, this product works perfectly.

Love the Swiffer Base Starter Kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been able to use my Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit for over a month, and I know I do not want to be without it. I have a large tiled kitchen and Florida room with two entrances so lots of foot traffic tracking sand or worse onto the floors all the time.
The Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit comes with a lightweight swivel handle with a flat mop head base where you easily attach the wet or dry cleaning pads. You don't have to get your hands dirty either. The kit contains dry pads that almost magically grab even the smallest bits of sand from my floors. The kit also includes wet pads that allow you to keep your floors looking great in a jiffy.
The Swiffer dry mop/pad amazes me every time I use it. It grabs so much sand and dirt, it is ideal for a quick swipe in the morning before starting a busy day. The Swiffer mop is so light and maneuvers so easy that It is actually fun cleaning the floor. I will continue to use the dry mop to keep up my floors in between deep cleaning.
The Swiffer wet mop/pad comes out of the package very wet and has a pleasant scent. It is so easy to get under cabinets or furniture and makes a quick clean up every day without leaving a residue on my floors. The wet pad doesn't quite make it all the way through my two main tiled floors so I use a spray bottle of water to wet the last few feet and it works great. I don't know how they could make the pad stay wet longer, and I could use a second pad if needed.
I cannot believe I found the secret to keeping my floors looking so clean all the time. Have you ever walked into someone's home and it looks immaculate? You know they are a busy family but the floors always look just cleaned and you wonder how they keep them that way. Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit is the secret!
I have heard people rave about Swiffer for years but, honestly, never thought it could be that great. I was so wrong, and I worked way too hard for too many years to keep my floors clean. If only I had listened to others when they told me how much they loved their Swiffer; how they couldn't get through their day without their Swiffer, and so on. I am now one of those people. I say the same things now!!
I have already bought replacement pads for my Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit. I am so happy I had the opportunity to test the Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit and to have had plenty of time to test it during the holidays, the busiest and most stressful time of the year. I did not stress about drop in visitors this year because I had the Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit. That is the secret!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit a couple weeks ago. I have used it several times now. I started will the Dry Sweeper, it does a good job will small rooms like the bathrooms, however, the larger rooms, it's too small. The living room and kitchen/dining room took way too long to get clean, not convenient at all. It does a good job getting under the couch and end tables. Then I used the Wet Sweeper. As I was trying to get the wet pad out of the pack all the solution was dripping on the floor and as I was trying to get it on the Sweeper the solution was running down my arms, again only good for very small rooms. The wet pad only did half of my living room, but one pad did clean the bathroom floor. I only recommend the Swiffer Sweeper Dry+Wet to people that have very small areas to clean. The fragrance was pleasant and not over powering.
