Swiffer, swiffer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, let me start by saying, I felt like Lee and Morty from the swiffer commercial, because as soon as my swiffer arrived I was up and at 'em to swiffer my whole house! For some reason swiffering is much more fun than sweeping and mopping!
In the box was the Swiffer Sweeper Starter Kit was the actual sweeper, along with the dry and wet cloth refills. The sweeper was basically a breeze to put together (I mean my three year old did keep trying to help…see the swiffer looks fun to everyone!). Each section just clicks into place.
First up - the dry cloth. We have hard wood everywhere except the kitchen, which is tile. I ran around and did the whole first floor. Whoa. I sweep and vacuum daily, sometimes twice daily. This thing picked up a ton of dust and cat hair (did I mention we have a black cat?). The floors already looked better.
Next, I went on to do the kitchen, with the wet cloth, which I had mopped only two days earlier, but was already looking a bit dingy. So quick and easy. The smells lingers an hour or two - I don’t like strong smells, but it really was fresh and clean, a hint of citrus. I didn’t do the wood floors. I think our floors are sealed, so I technically could, but I already have a wood floor routine. I will stick to just the dry cloth for the wood. The cloth did my kitchen (12x12 approx.) but started to dry up near the end.
I think the dry cloth will become a part of my weekly routine for sure! I have two toddlers, a cat and a husband. This definitely won’t replace my daily vacuuming/sweeping because of all of the crumbs left by everyone ;) but, it made a huge difference in cat hair/dander and dust! It’s great for the bedrooms which mostly just get dusty. So easy, you don’t need to bend down like you do with a broom. I flip the dry cloth over (I don’t think they advertise to do this, but I totally picked up more dust with the reverse clean side of the cloth). The wet cloth - My kitchen just gets too messy with the littles running around while they eat, drooling or whatever it is they do to make such a mess :) If you are just a one or two person household I could see this being all you need to keep floors clean! I’ll probably keep a few on hand for quick mops like in between my regular mop and bucket routine, or if I have short notice company coming by.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this kit is very useful for people that have a lot of hardwood floors and especially in combination with a dog that sheds! Now with snow, and dog tracks flowing in after every visit outside, I just grab the Swiffer I have sitting out in the kitchen to clean up the tracks immediately. Thanks for the practical and handy tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are no words to explain how much this swiffer product has helped me with my cleaning routine. I have two very active dogs that I am constantly cleaning up after. There have been many times where I would get on my hands and knees and scrub the floor whenever there was dirt, a spill, clumps of dog hair, muddy paws etc. This product has made cleaning become a 1,2, 3 and it's done process. This product has made cleaning so simple and I don't dred the task of cleaning my floors anymore.

So convenient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Truth is, I tend to avoid cleaning if it involves a lot of hassle, frustration, and/or mess. My only chance at keeping a tidy house is to find products like this one that will make my life easier! I love that the Swiffer is small enough to hang from the inside of the closet door so that I can grab it and use it whenever I need it. I love that cleaning is easy and the cleaning pads are disposable. While it's not great for heavy-duty jobs, it serves its purpose -- it's quick, convenient, and easy to use. I wish the refills weren't quick so costly, but perhaps they'll come down in price over time. On the other hand, the starter kit is so inexpensive that I can buy one for each floor of my house and always have one handy when I need it!

Super simple and effective product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer Sweeper is such a great product. It's easy to set up and use. Within minutes (quite literally) you can put it together and start using it to clean up dust and debris. Having all hardwood floors can be a challenge to keep clean. With the Swiffer Sweeper, you can use the two pads to clean it all. I used the dry pads first to collect all of the dust and loose dirt, and they worked perfectly, acting as a dust magnet. I followed up with the wet pad to lock in the remaining dirt, which pulled up even more than I would have thought, all while leaving a clean scent. The unit itself is the perfect height, has a sturdy design and the swiveling head is much improved from previous models, helping it to glide across the floor and into tight spaces. If you're looking for a great, all around floor cleaning tool, this is definitely something worth buying, as I would highly recommend it to anyone who likes to keep it clean in a snap.

Works like a magnet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first want to say that I have two dogs. Two Shelties to be exact. And they shed. Oh boy do they shed.
My kitchen has laminate wood flooring, so I used the Swiffer there. Their hair and dust collect in the corners of the kitchen and under the stove and anywhere else it can go. Also, they go outside through the back door, which means they they have to walk through the kitchen when they come inside, tracking dirt and who knows what else inside.
I first used the dry cloth to pick up the hair. I was amazed. The hair just stuck to the cloth like a magnet. Also, the hair that was already collected on the cloth didn't fall off as I kept sweeping.
I then used the wet cloth to give the floor a more thorough cleaning. The cloth was nicely saturated. It glided across the floor and picked up any dirt that the dry cloth wasn't able to get.
I was left with a glistening floor that looked like new! I was impressed.
All in all, the sweeper was very easy to put together (and take apart). The cloths were easy to put on. And it worked just as I hoped it would. Highly recommended!

Love the ease

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The swifter is perfect for my wood laminate floors. They rarely have a lasting shine that do not have footprints on them. I always dread having to clean them because it is hard to disquisition the streaks on this floor. Swiffer left less streaks than other brands I have tried and makes the quick in between cleanings fast. I will continue to purchase both the wet and dry pads

Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having tried the "Swiffer Wet Jet" years ago, I was really looking forward to trying this new version. Having tried it on my hardwood floors, here are my thoughts:
Pro: Lightweight and easy to use Handle comes in sections for easy assembly and storage Dry cloths attract and trap pet hair (important in a house with 2 dogs and 4 cats) fits under the door stops without a problem.
Con: Cloth doesn't stay "wet" long enough to do my whole floor Scrub strip doesn't work as well as I was expecting; edge doesn't turn down enough to scrub the spot on the floor easily.
Overall, a very good product for small areas. While you could do a large area, you'd be going through a lot of "wet" cloths to do it.
