Swiffer Sweeper Base Starter Kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer Sweeper starter kit is really convenient. It's small enough to hang inside my hall closet so it's close at hand and has definitely helped me keep my kitchen cleaner (no small feat with 2 kids under 4). It's simple to change the clothes, both wet or dry, and very sanitary since you just throw the dirty ones away, although I usually get a few uses out of the dry ones! The only thing I do wish is that it were bigger. I find I still grab for my larger swiffer dry broom more often just because it's twice the coverage and thereore 1/2 the passes and saves me a bit of time. I absolutely feel better about the kids crawling around on the kitchen floor knowing it's cleaner since I'm able to run the wet swiffer more now, every few days, since it's way less of a hassle than brigning out the mop and bucket or filling up the sink with cleaner. The scrubber part of the cloth is very useful too for easily removing sticky globs or smushed food and the scent isn't overwhelming so I can clean while the kids are running around me.
Make the head of the swiffer wider and this product would be perfection!

Great and easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the swiffer. The handle is really thin and it maneuvers really well. The head of the swiffer turns in all directions so its really easy to get under the couch which is great because my cats like to go under there. I like the mop wipes. They stick on very easily, smell great and pick up a lot gross stuff from the floor. Its quick and easy to use everyday and doesnt make your floor slippery.

Quick and easy cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how easy the swifter is to use. I have an eight month old baby that is just starting to crawl around. I also have a dog that sheds pretty badly. I love that the dry cloth grabs the dog hair that collects in the corners of my kitchen. I can feel confident letting my son crawl around knowing the floor is clean. The wet cloths are perfect for my bathroom floors. I really like that there aren't any separate solution bottles to buy. You just attach the wipes to the swifter and you're ready to go. I am very satisfied with the swiffer sweeper dry + wet wipes package and will continue to use it for an quick, easy and good cleaning.

Quick and Easy on Simple Messes!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used many Swiffer products in the past, and I'll say that this one isn't anything super spectacular, but it does the job.
When I received it, I thought the box was so tiny! I had no idea that it would have to be put together as much as it did, but it was pretty cool because it meant it was compact and great for tiny places (an apartment only has so much room). Product felt sturdy upon assembly and I was ready to go!
I used the wet cloths first, as I live with dogs, cats, toddlers, babies and adults (which makes for several messes pretty quickly). I have tile, laminate and vinyl flooring in most of the house and it takes care of it all! They pick up crumbs and spills but found I had to almost "scrub" with things that were more dried on. Not as heavy duty as something like a steam mop, but good for simple messes where spills are tiny.
The dry cloths were good, too. They got a good amount of dust up and very minimal spills up. I just don't feel as "clean" as when I use the dry cloths vs. the wet cloths (for obvious reasons).
Overall, a pretty good product that I can keep in a closet or cabinet in my apartment. I do prefer other methods of floor cleaning though!

Makes mopping so easy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has recently started picking up chores around the house and mopping was never really an option for him since it's so messy and difficult. Swiffer Floor Mop was a game changer though! The mop is so easy to use and it sprays just the right amount of cleaner. My son is now able to add mopping our hardwood floors to his cleaning list and is now earning even more allowance. Thanks so much to Swiffer for creating a product that anyone can use!

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Made getting the kitchen clean for Thanksgiving tomorrow a breeze. My floor looks amazing and it only took one dry pad and one wet pad. I did sweep with a normal broom prior to get the bigger items off the floor. But it picked up what was left behind. I also used to clean the bathroom floors, again only one per bathroom floor, I didn't know they were that nasty still after using a normal mop

so easy even a toddler can use it!

Since I now have a toddler that makes a huge mess and a dog that sheds everywhere, my hands are always full and I can use any help I can get. Anytime I can find something that can make my life easier, I'm willing to pay for it.
With the swiffer, I don't need to grab a broom and dustpan.
Let's see why a swiffer is better than a broom/dustpan combo:
One handed operation - It really is that simple that I can swiff around one handed. When you're holding a fussy baby and trying to clean up, this is a huge help.
No dust flying around - The pads trap all of the dirt and dust as you move around. A broom sometimes just moves dust elsewhere.
Wet wipes - these help remove marks off the floor in cases where a dry broom won't do.
Adjustable - The handle is also really neat in that I can adjust the length of it so that my 19 month old toddler can actually push the swiffer around to help clean up. So with 2 of them, your kid can model your behavior and start cleaning up too. Once he grows taller, I can add on additional sections so that it fits him.
Good for aging folks - if you have a bad back, you don't need to crouch down to use a dustpan or get on the floor to scrub out some stain.
