Swiffer does the job in a breeze

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the Swiffer kit especially the dry sweeping cloth that captured every dirt, gunk, hair and debris on my floor. I have a bit of a problem with the wet mopping cloth because it kept coming off and I had to mop very gently (but even that caused the cloth to come off). I do not understand why the dry cloth stayed in place but the wet one did not. But overall, I would say it is an efficient kit and even my 7-year old could do a decent job using it!

Versatile and good for quick cleanup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am an old school floor cleaner-broom and mop for me always- but occasionally I want a quick shine without all the hassle. The swifter is packaged nicely in a small box and easy to put together. So easy that my 10 year old popped it together in less than a minute. It came with dry sweeping clothes and wet cleaning cloths. We have multiple floor types of various woods and tiles so I was skeptical that the dry clothes would actually effectively pick up the dirt from grooves and edges of these surfaces. We have two young boys and a dog so our floors get dirty fast. I first swept with a broom and then used the dry cloth to see if it would pick up what the broom missed. I was very surprised to see the amount of dirt and hair collected in the dry cloth in the connected entry, hall, bathroom. and laundry room. Next I used the wet cloth on this area starting in the tiled bathroom. it had great coverage and picked up dirt well. I had a little difficulty using the scrubbing edge; especially on the grout lines. After a few tries I kinda got the just of it but it still felt awkward. The wet cloth went dry after covering the bathroom and about a quarter of the hall floor. I expected it to stay damp a little longer but at that point it was dirty and needed to be changed anyway. The second wet cloth covered the rest of the hall and laundry room. I was pleased with how clean the surface was when finished. Overall, I found the handle of the swifter a little short. I would have loved just a few more inches. I really liked the dry clothes and could see myself using them often. I would use the wet clothes when I need a quick clean but due to the number of clothes it would take to clean the entire house I think I would not use them regularly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A house full of laughter, food, and fun, and in my case fifteen of my closest relatives, is what makes holidays special. No one wants to spend that precious time with clean up! I couldn't believe how quickly and easily the Swiffer Sweeper made my kitchen hardwoods sparkle after cooking Thanksgiving dinner! My floor is African cherry, and a very dark reddish stain, it shows everything and can easily look streaky or dull. The Swiffer mopped up messes, footprints, and puppy paws in one pass. The design and flexibility of the sweeper head made it easy to reach under cabinets, and even under my stove! I especially loved the green scrubby strip on the surface of the wet cleaning pad. It made cleaning up sticky drips like sugary iced tea or gravy a breeze. And what really impressed me was the shine! It also left no sticky residue, and dried super quickly. It wasn't just great for my kitchen, though. I used it throughout my house on my hardwood floors, and even on bathroom tile! I was so happy for clean floors, but even more so for the extra time spent with loved ones!

I'm so surprised!!

The reason I say this is because all of the floors in my house seem to have a weird reaction to any swiffer products. I read the back of this packaging and it does have a list of no no's for not using swiffer products on. But I decided to give this a go and see what would happen. I will say this, the wet wipes are very, very wet! Be prepared to have product all over your floors. So be sure to open them where you're going to actually clean the floor. I am so surprised and excited! I use this on the tile floor in my kitchen as well as the hardwood floors in my hallway and dining room and everything came out super clean! There is usually a weird haziness to my floors afterwords and they feel sticky, but not this time. I'm not sure if they change the formula or what they did, but it worked on all the floors that I used it on. I highly recommend this product for fast and easy cleanup!!

Well....was hoping for better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a new wood floor in my kitchen/family room area. It is a hand hewed floor, so it is not perfectly flat. I was very excited to try the new Swiffer Sweeper on it. Started with the Dru cloth, results were good, not great. Stuff that the swiffer dry picked up, got caught on other parts (ridges) of the floor.
Moved onto the set to see if it also happened here. It did, but not to the same extent. If I moved with the grain, not across, it worked much better.
Cleaning was good, but had to get the vacuum out to clean amongst the grooves. I'll continue to try both wet & dry Swiffer Swedper sheets to see if I can find a 'better plan'.

The Swift Swiffer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a white tile kitchen and the amount of dirt it accumulates is so astounding that I had my doubts about this product. After using it over Thanksgiving I now have the utmost confidence in using it. First, I appreciate that the handle/rod detaches into 4 different parts so you can make it as tall or short as you would like. Second, both the wet and dry cleaning pads stay on the whole time I am cleaning and do not have to readjust at any time in order to continue use. Third, the swivel is great. You can change to being right hand dominant to left hand dominant without picking up the whole thing and turning it around. As you clean it is easy to re-position without leaving the floor as you go. Fourth, I found the wet pads to be way more useful than I thought. The wet pad cleans my whole kitchen without any trouble, and it is nice not to have to use a spray to continue moistening as I go. Fifth, I use the dry pads primarily to wipe up after using the wet pad so that everyone can come back into the kitchen expeditiously. Then I keep the dry pad on for the week to be easily accessible for a minor spill. All in all, a handy thing to have a round that produces the result I need on a regular basis.

Excellent on wood floors

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just moved into a house with woods floors. There is a lot of dog hair in my house with 3 pugs. Swiffer nicely and effectively cleaned all the pug hair dust bunnies from underneath the table and everywhere. It was so easy to maneuver too. I didn't realize how dirty my floors were until I used this! They literally gleam now.
