Easy in a pinch floor cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Swiffer Sweeper starter kit is exactly that, it is a great in the pinch floor cleaner for someone in a small apartment or with a lot of wood/tile floors. The base kit comes with a few wet & dry sweeping clothes it is also easy to pop together the handle for assembly. The wet clothes don't last for my whole 1000sqft apartment which is mostly wood with a little tile in the bathroom but they do about half before I need to switch. The dry sweepers are great for my dogs short hair and any dirt she tracks in from us walking her at night.

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Made getting the kitchen clean for Thanksgiving tomorrow a breeze. My floor looks amazing and it only took one dry pad and one wet pad. I did sweep with a normal broom prior to get the bigger items off the floor. But it picked up what was left behind. I also used to clean the bathroom floors, again only one per bathroom floor, I didn't know they were that nasty still after using a normal mop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving the Swiffer Sweeper! I vacuumed my hard wood floors and then used the Swiffer Wet. They shined after using this. Then it was onto the kitchen where the tuff stuff lies. Again it shined when I was done. It even got some of the hard stuff off the floor. I used the dry Swiffer clothes behind the couches and it gathered all the dust bunnies. This is great for hard wood floors that love to collect animal hair and dust bunnies. Love!!!

A busy mothers dream!

I have a full time job, 2 kids and 3 dogs so needless to say my house isn't always as clean as I would like.I was very excited to try the Swifter Sweeper Base Starter Kit. I was not disappointed. The mop does not come assembled but it was very easy to put together. The mop comes with wet and dry pads. Both the wet and dry pads were very easy to put on the mop. The wet pads worked well cleaning up dirt and spills on my tile floor. I cleaned my whole kitchen with only one-pad. I also have wood floors in my house. I used the dry pads on the wood floors. They worked really well. I couldn't believe how much dust, dirt, and pet hair the pad picked up. Both the wet and dry pads are huge time savers. I used the wet mop to quickly clean up some juice my son spilled. I really love how easy and the convenient the mop is to use. I highly recommend it.

Swiffer is OK

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far not in love with the Swiffer. It's just ok. the dry cloths are good for picking up dust and hair, but absolutely useless for anything more. I still have to get out the broom if there are any larger bits on the floor, so I might as well have just done the floor with a broom in the first place and saved myself the time.
Not in love with the wet cloths either. I have wood floors throughout my entire house and they leave the floors looking streaky and honestly, worse than they did before I used it. The wet cloths are ok in my bathrooms where I have textured tile and the streakiness doesn't show.
It's a great concept, but definitely needs some tweaking.

New & Improved Swiffer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the way this Swiffer handle goes from front to back AND from left to right. It is much easier to use than old versions. The top part is thicker & easier to hold onto as well. I just wish it had one more piece to make it longer: I am 5'9" tall & have to bend over some to use it.
The wet pad is great to use in the kitchen. It gets under counters & around the edges of the room very well, which it where all the dirt accumulates. It is much easier & less messy to use than a traditional mop & bucket. I am hooked!

Nice for a quick clean

It picked up a lot of dirt I didn't realize was there, but I still had to use a dustpan to pick up a lot of stuff the swiffer missed. The wet mop kept coming off the base when I was using it and I had to keep reattaching it, which was annoying. One wet mop was sufficient for cleaning the kitchen and dining room, but I could see this adding up quickly if you had to keep rebuying as the kit only comes with 3. I still prefer my steam mop for cleaning. I like the dry mop for sweeping but probably wouldn't rebuy.

Getting ready for thanksgiving

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am having the family over of the first time for thanksgiving. I wanted my apartment to be extra clean for when the arrived. I have a dog and a cat that seem to shed all over and I always have trouble cleaning the kitchen and bathroom floor because I feel I am always sweeping. But now that I have the swiffer it made cleaning these floors an ease. First I started with the dry cloths and it picked up so much dirt and pet hair. After I was done I pulled out the wet to give my floors that extra shine. The easiness of cleaning up the floors left me so much time to focus on cooking. The best part is to make sure the floor is extra clean I plan on doing it one more time before my family gets here. I recommend this product to anyone who is tired of sweeping constantly
