Swiffer 'Squiter' Wet Jet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three active kids, so having clean floors is a daily chore. I needed a mop that was easy to use and sturdy enough to handle my vigorous mopping. Enter Swiffer Wet Jet to our lives. First, it was easy to assemble. The battery compartment easily slide out and then snaps in. I did not have to hunt down a screw driver and hassle with small screws. The mop itself was light but sturdy. I did not have a problem carrying the Swiffer room to room. Or was I afraid it was going to break as I was trying to clean up a sticky mess. And the pads are amazing. They are super absorbent and easy to attach. I just place the pad on the floor and press the Swiffer over it. Nothing to pull, tuck in or overlap. I wish I would have known that there was not enough cleaning liquid for several uses. The container is rather small and the scent is not prominent. I wish the scent would be more intense and would lingering more after I was done cleaning. But overall, I really enjoyed using it. My kids also thought it was easy. So mush so, that they started 'squirting' their bedroom floors when ever they see it dirty. I even notice my daughter cleaning the hallway after she came in with dirty shoes. She said to me "just squirting to mud away mom" Perfect!

Perfect Timing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got our Swiffer Wet Jet just after moving into our new home...which has all wood floors. We used 3 of the pads for the entirety of our downstairs, and while I'm sure getting down on our hands and knees and scrubbing would have better results, my wife and I are both happy with the job that the Swiffer Wet Jet did! We did notice a little bit of a sticky residue, but that seemed to go away after a short amount of time.

Dirty Floors are a thing of the past in my home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having all hardwood and tile floors is great for those with allergies, but it is tough to keep the floors clean with kids running around with dirty shoes. I thought I was getting my floors clean before Swiffer...that was until I looked at the Swiffer pad after my first cleaning! WOW! I couldn't believe how dirty my "clean" floors were. Using the disposable pads was easy and the this has definitely saved my knees from cleaning with a sponge in the kitchen. While it isn't the best for floors that have been neglected, it is a wonder for keeping the floors cleaned on a daily or weekly basis. Why didn't I find the Wet Jet earlier????

Easy setup. Smooth operation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to set it up in less than 5 seconds out of the box. The handling is surprising smooth compared to a previous Swiffer I used 5 years ago.
The only thing I didn't like is the strong smell from the cleaning agent itself. I wish there is an natural alternative.

Swiffer Wet Jet Starter Kit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the Swiffer Dusters before so I've had a pretty good opinion of Swiffer in general. But I was always hesitant about the Swiffer Wet Jet thinking how good could this little mop with its thin pad really do cleaning a floor. A Duster picking up dust is one thing but really cleaning a dirty floor with a pad?
Well after using it I have to say Swiffer is now two for two with their products that I have used. The Wet Jet is pretty easy to put together with simple directions. I love how light it weighs and with the pad there is no need to keep wringing out a wet heavy mop which makes mopping less of a workout. The cleaning solution has a wonderful scent to it which really is an added bonus. Beyond the scent, it does a really nice job of getting the dirt broken up so the pad can pick it all up and trap it leaving a very nice shine to the clean floor. And of course at the end of mopping you just pull off the old dirty pad and throw it away and you are done - very simple.

Great for big and small jobs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this product for over a month, I really love ❤️ the convince of not having to grab a mop and bucket to clean up a small job. Having this swifter around makes my job easy .Since I run a daycare out of my house, the size of the swifter makes it easy to grab and put up when I'm done, no hassle of having a large mop bucket around, just make sure you don't spray a lot of solution on the floor because it will not dry as fast. When I spray a little the floor dries in no time at all. I'm so happy to have this product in my home.

Pads not thick enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the smell of the spray and it is great for little clean ups, but for cleaning the whole floor, the pad is not thick enough to hold even a minimum amount of spray. It will spread the dirty water around on the floor instead of absorbing it. I like to use it when I do not have a lot of time and just need a quick clean. I do not think that it is thorough clean, but it works when time is limited. I vacuum first because the pad does not collect dirty or food particles. I will keep using the wet jet for quick cleanings because the spray smells so good and clean!

Caught My Husband Using it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just sold our home and I came home to my husband using the Swiffer Wet Jet Starter Kit to clean the hardwood floors. Usually we clean them with this "special" hardwood cleaner and a cloth. It's super hard on the knees but it's supposed to work the best. After I received the Wet Jet and have been using it since I realized it was safe on our hardwood, he tried it and loved it as well. We love the smell of it, it's great on the hardwood and makes them nice and shiny. We do have to use a couple pads when cleaning because we have so much space to clean but I feel like it's worth it because it's quick, and is easier on the knees than the old way.
