great in some ways, laking in others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a real love/hate relationship with the Swiffer Wet Jet Wood kit. in some ways it is not the best but in other situations it can be a life saver.
Our house has mainly hard wood floors with area rugs, but I would estimate at least 50% of the flooring is exposed wood flooring. Over the years we have collected a variety of cleaning devices to deal with the flooring, including dusters, a special vacuum, dust mop, steamer etc.
When I first received the Swifter I tried to use it for all the floor cleaning tasks in the house and to be honest I went back to using my old tools pretty quickly. My first impression is that it used a lot of cleaning fluid when used as directed. It just seemed to be overkill and wasteful. We also have 3 grandchildren whom make a big mess while eating and while the Swifter could handle the areas where there was a build up of food debris, it took a bit of work but did a pretty good job. After experimenting through a couple of cleaning cycle I did find that the Swifter did a superior job in the great "middle" of cleaning tasks. For the complete disaster areas I found the steam mop did a great job with little waste and in many lightly used areas a quick dust mopping would suffice.

The Swifter really showed its versatility in areas which needed heavier cleaning than just a quick once over but didn't need the brute force of the steam mop. Once I found the place for the Swifter in my cleaning routine I found it to be a useful, easy to use cleaning solution.

Works so much better than a regular mop!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this product is great. I don't usually buy stuff like this because I'm a stickler for the tried and true of cleaning. I've only used a mop to clean my floors and have always felt they were clean and didn't see a reason to change. Now I don't have hard wood floors so o can speak to that but I used this on my regular tile floors. First I did my regular mop routine and then used the swiffer just to see if I was missing anything with my regular mop. Wow at the difference! It pulled up stuff that I couldn't see and was missing with my regular mop routine. This is definitely something I will continue to use!!!

Just what we needed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a year in our new DC condo we were left scratching our heads as to how best to care for our new wood floors. The instruction manual said do not use cleaners, just soap and water. Well, that approach failed to give floors the the fresh look we enjoyed when moving in. So, upon receiving the Swiffer Starter Kit I decided to test the cleaner in a hidden corner of the floor. It worked! I mopped the entire house. It sparkled and smelled fresh. I've already purchased a full replacement cleaner. We are sold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have finished hardwood oak floors. I used this product on them. It picks up a lot of dirt. I used it on linoleum too. Not tile because I think the solution stains the grout.

Quick and easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a great product for people who have dogs. I am always dragging out the mop after the dogs have been out in the rain and or dirt. I have tile flooring and it makes my life much easier and cleaner with little to no work.Quick to assemble and gets the job done, no old mop to wring out or bucket to to fill up.I would highly recommend this product for anyone with pets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Swiffer Wet Jet it takes the dread out of cleaning the floor. I got the Swiffer Wet Jet and had it assembled and ready to use in under 5 minutes. It comes with the Swiffer, a full size bottle of solution, Duracell batteries, and swiffer pads. Assembly was easy as it only has 3 pieces to snap together and they only go one way so you can not mess up assembly. Once it is together it is time to start cleaning. I use mine everyday and the swiffer pad absorbs the grit and grim and just does not push it around. This makes cleaning so easy.

Lives in my kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lives in my kitchen! The mob is incredibly fast and efficient for cleaning the floor. Traditional mobs are so labor intensive and a pain to clean with. You have to get the soap, find a bucket, fill it with hot water and rinse. With the Swiffer I spray the scented cleaner on the floor and wipe up all the stains on the title. I love having it in my kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great mop. The Swiffer Wet Jet works great everywhere. The scrubbing pads are strong and durable. The cleaning solution works well getting off those stubborn messes. The mop is light weight and easy to assemble. The slim design allows the mop to reach under cabinets with ease.
